ICT ENABLED CLASS ROOMS

HITAM always gives its highest priority to adopt the high quality

innovative teaching learning techniques and provides better learning

facilities. In this regard HITAM has upgraded all its 22 classrooms and 2

seminar halls with modern ICT facilities which consist projectors, screens,

internet connection and audio systems. In addition to these facilities, one

graphic tablet is also provided for each department which will replace the

effort of writing on boards in conventional teaching way.

ALL INDIA EWB (ENGINEERING WITH OUT BOARDERS ) CHAPTER

MEET , BANGALORE.

The students of ECE department participated in All India EWB Chapter Meet

held at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Bangalore, from January 10th

11th, 2020. The Professional chapter was organized by Engineering Without

Borders (EWB) chapter meet. In this meet more than 25 Engineering colleges

were participated. In that meet HITAM presented its proposal on “The solution

of a universal grand challenge.” Total 11 students were represented HITAM

EWB Chapter, in which a team of four students were presented a proposal to

meet the grand challenge. Their proposal was accepted to carry out the further

work, the panel selected only three institution’s proposals including HITAM.

ICTIEE 2020 International Conference on Transformations in Engineering

Education

HITAM students once again exhibited their talent at an international

conference. Our students showed extraordinary skills and excellence in “Seventh

International Conference on Transformation in Engineering Education” held at

Anurag college of engineering, Ghatkesar. From all over India there total 197,

participants attended the conference. For its best presentations, HITAM

got rewards for sanitation track project and education augmentation track. In

that event Indian and Foreign evaluators, delegates, chairpersons have

appreciated HITAM students for their innovative ideas and projects. Our

beloved chairman, Arutla Prashanth Reddy met the students at the event and

appreciated their job.

ETHICAL HACKING

Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a three day’sNational workshop on “Ethical Hacking” from 7th -9th Jan 2020 in HITAM. The

aim of the event was to give a basic knowledge to the Technocrats of hacking,and how to protect system against hazardous effects. In that event Participantsshowed their enthusiasm to learn comprehensive approaches for protectinginfrastructure, including securing data and information, running risk analysis andmitigation. They also focused on learning architecting cloud-based security,achieving compliance and much more with this best-in-this program and learnedhow to Block unwanted traffic and protect website against automated attacks.Speaker of the event Jayanth Betha, (IT Security Analyst, CARTEL SOFTWARE PvtLtd.), has shared various ideas with the participants. Department HOD and thecollege principal appreciated the participants and distributed the certificates.

NATIONAL VOTERS DAY CELEBRATIONS

It is known to all that In order to encourage the young voters to take

part in the political process, Government of India has decided tocelebrate January 25 every year as "National Voters' Day“. In this regardHITAM organized the VOTER’S DAY to spread awareness among theyouths, so that they can cast their votes to a responsible person andparticipate in the development of the country. Principal J.Shivakumarspoke on the importance of vote in a democratic country.Later HITAM faculty and students pledged for the ethical voting.

TECHNICAL TALK ON IMPORTANCE OF PLC IN AUTOMATION

HITAM organised “Technical talk on “importance of PLC in automation ”

This Seminar was provided end-to-end comprehensive total Automation

Solutions through integration of cutting edge, state-of-the art PLCs

(Programmable Logic Controllers), controllers, PCI and PC based open control

software solutions. Theoretical training imparted during this seminar in the

following domain: Detailed information about PLC components, various ranges

available in PLCs, Commissioning of Drives, power supply, I/O modules and

communication bus. This seminar has given motivation and benefit to large

number of students especially UG students and also faculty who are working in

Industrial Automation. Chief guest for the event was Mr. Akbar Ansari, Chief

Consultant, Electrisation Technologies, Hyderabad .

NEWS LETTERNATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING (NLP) FACULTY DEVELOPMENT

PROGRAM

HITAM organized an FDP on Natural Language Processing on its

campus. Faculty who participated in this program learned how to

train the professionals in not only the existing and changing

technologies but also in the fields of R & D and electronics

manufacturing. This was specifically be aimed at the ICTE sector to

create a substantial resource pool of talent and generate ample

opportunities for entrepreneurs. The program was supported by

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of

India. Participation Certificates were issued to the participants on

Republic day by the chief guest .
