High contrast
Electrical Impedance Tomography is an imaging modality reconstructing
high contrast conductivity from current-to-voltage measurements. It is
however low resolution. The same type of statements holds for (limited
frequency) inverse scattering problems [Colton-Kress 98; Cheney et al. 99;
Borcea 02].

Mathematical model: Calderon problem
EIT is modeled by:

Quantitative Thermo-Acoustic Tomography (QTAT)

• We need boundary conditions that satisfy the Lopatinskii condition.
