The hybrid planning of intralogistic systems requires deep

knowledge of processes and the industry with interdisciplinary

expertise in warehouse technology, organisation, and IT. For

this reason, the planning team is made up of experienced en-

gineers, computer scientists, and logisticians who are familiar

The increas ing dynamics of an »on-demand world« have resulted in constant change in intra logist ics .

Smal ler order quant i t ies and higher del ivery frequencies dictate the environment. The requirements for

f lex ib i l i ty , eff ic iency, and costs are steadi ly increas ing. In order to be successful in the market, companies

have to opt imize and redes ign their intra logist ics cont inuously. I t i s often not enough to examine only

indiv idual processes, warehouse technologies, or IT modules. A susta inable leap in performance is only
