Every month we will provide you with information on the wine sector by either showcasing a particular grape variety or vineyard and highlight our inͲstore and wine club member only specials. We want this to be an enjoyable and interactive insight into the essence of wine whilst being a concise and useful guide to our cellar. For those whom have joined recently and havent used their membership card: You receive 10% off the listed price when purchasing two or more bottles of wine (this excludes already marked down products). For those who will be with us at Hyatt Regency Coolum in January please be informed that we will be open everyday from 5pm, including Australia Day on 26 January. There will be wine tastings every Friday & Saturday night between 5.30pm to 8pm. Please feel most welcome to come in and sample the wine available and have a passionate chat with our friendly and informed cellar staff. I guess only time will tell! In the meantime, we have seen an interesting switch to other grape varieties of late. Could this simply be attributed to experimenting with different varieties and styles, or is the Sauvignon Blanc bubble about to burst? Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio (the earlier picked style) has been the alternate choice by former Sav consumers for its lifted bouquet, lean freshness and its ability to pair with food, particularly our Noodles restaurant. Consequently we have extended our range of this variety and will soon host products from Alsace France, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Brands such as Isabel, Astrolabe, Vavasour, and Tar & Roses provide excellent value for money starting at $25 per bottle. Look out for inͲstore Pinot Gris & Grigio wine tastings Due to popular demand and much to Stevens delight, the brainͲchild of wine maker David Powell: Torbreck Wines, have been on special inͲstore for the past month and will carry on to the end of January. The stock available has been severely depleted with only a few of the The Gask 06, Descendant 06, Runrig 03, 04, and 05 left. Notably though we have released The Strui 06, available now. We have priced the premium wines (Run Rig & The Descendant) at the relative auction price available inͲstore, though for members only we are extending an extra 10% off on any twoͲbottle purchase of the Torbreck Run Rig. This amazing offer is available for a period of two weeks only. For prices and further information please call or see me inͲstore after 5pm. We can deliver Australia wide (please note: prices may vary to remote areas and for larger quantities). If you have any special requests or would like us to showcase a particular grape style or region please let us know. Till we meet inͲstore, Salut. Allan

available in store, though for members
