    1.1 Information about this tutorial 

    This tutorial 0as made $or the Hero Wars ma* called: Hero Wars Icelands 1.2ar. I 0ill try to 'i)e as

    much in$ormation as I can. %lso I 0ould like to *oint out that this is a tutorial5 ho0e)er it 0ill not

    'uarantee a *layer to become a 'ood *layer. It costs time and e$$ort to become 'ood so *lease do not

    think o$ this as the ma'ic 'uide to *ro 'ames.

    1.2 About me

    I6m a currently a member o$ clan Icey. My nickname is &47Malek and my name is Daniel. 3eel $ree to

    3.1 General information

    The $irst thin' you 0ill 0ant to do a$ter 'ettin' a bank and be$ore the $irst duel 0ould be 'ettin' a set

    4 Team play

    !.1 "asks

    In hero 0ars the key to 0innin' a 'ame is team0ork. To kee* e)erythin' clear and *re)ent

    misunderstandin's you should make di)ide the tasks you ha)e to do. These tasks can be di)ided intot0o cate'ories: %ttack and De$ense.

    !.2 #o$ to divide the tasks

    The decision on 0ho does 0hat de*ends on 0hich hero one 'ets. This mean that all *layers ha)e to be

    able to do both tasks. Heroes 0ith 'ood attack characteristics 0ould be heroes 0ith: %)atar5 Death and

    Decay5 Reincarnation5 Metamor*hose5 Mirror ima'e5 Wind 0alk. I$ you hero has one or more o$ these

    skills it 0ould be seen as an attack hero. De$ense heroes 0ould be heroes 0ho ha)e: &yclone5 Antan'le5

    3irebolt5 %bolish. When all heroes are de$ense ty*es or attack times you 0ill ha)e to decide on 0ho has

    the most $a)orable skills or you may e)en choose based on someone6s skill. 3or instance 2 similar

    heroes5 ho0e)er one *layer is better in de$endin' than the other5 then it 0ould be 0ise to let him

    de$end.

    !.3 Attacking

    This is an *retty sim*le task ho0e)er it re;uires 'ood timin' as 0ell as an eye $or detail. 3or e5 as 0ell as his ice to0ers because they 0ill slo0 you do0n 0hile attackin'. When you

    ha)e an 0ind 0alk hero you can 8ust 0ind 0alk *ast the de$enses and kill the enemy bank =*ossibly by

    buyin' rain o$ $ire in the ri'ht s*ell sho*>. I$ you aren6t a 0ind 0alk hero you 0ill either ha)e to run

    *ast the ice to0ers and attack the bank or you 0ill ha)e to destroy at least one o$ the ice to0ers and

    then run *ast the de$ense to destroy the bank. 9ou 0ill continue destroyin' their banks until 1"

    minutes ha)e *assed. %$ter 1" minutes the master *eon becomes a)ailable. This *eon can build the

    stron'est to0ers in the 'ame: destroyers. 9ou 0on6t like these to0ers 0hen they start attackin' you so

    you should try to sto* the enemy $rom buildin' to0ers no0. 9ou can do this by attackin' to0er 0hich

    are in the *rocess o$ bein' built or by killin' the master *eon. I$ the enemy still had the chance to buildu* their de$ense then the real 8ob be'ins. I$ you are too 0eak to kill the $arm then you should try to kill

    as many to0ers *ossible5 or you should kill handymen or *riests 0ho are standin' un*rotected=usin'

    entan'le on a master *eon5 or normal *eon 0ill kill him 0ithout the need o$ attackin' them>. The

    enemy 0ill ha)e to rebuild them costin' them *recious resources. 9ou continue 0ith this until you are

    stron' enou'h to kill the $arm5 you may 0ant to use cyclone to cyclone heroes or *riests. Ho0e)er

    there is a catch5 most 'ood *layers block access to the $arm 0ith their to0ers.. so you can6t 8ust 0alk

    ri'ht o)er to the $arm. 9ou 0ill need to destroy one to0er to make a hole in the de$ense line5 0alk

    throu'h it and then attack the $arm5 this may sound easy but it re;uires 'ood re$le

    %s I ha)e said the enemy =and you> 0ill try to kill each other6s bank be$ore the master *eon is a)ailable.

    9our 8ob as a de$ender 0ould be to sto* the enemy $rom killin' your de$enses and banks. The $irst

    de$ensi)e measure you 0ill 0ant to take is to make 2 or # handymen in your shrine ri'ht a$ter the $irst

    duel. These 'uys can re*air the banks as 0ell as ha)in' a lot more H( than a *eon has. % 'ood tactic is

    to 0ait 8ust behind the ice to0ers $or the attackin' hero and stun him =or sto* him 0ith entan'le etc>

    0hen he is slo0ed. He 0ill take dama'e $rom the to0ers and be slo0ed. till this doesn6t al0ays 0ork

    so you 0ill ha)e to de$end at your banks sometimes. The enemy tends to dislike stuns and 0ill take anti

    ma'ic shell=%M> 0ith him renderin' him immune to s*ells. To take this nasty shield a0ay 0e ha)e the

    *riest. This is a small s*ell caster 0hich has abolish ma'ic amon' some other skills. %bolish ma'ic can

    remo)e this nasty shield enablin' you to cast s*ells on him. %$ter the 1" minutes marker the *riority

    0ould be to 'et a de$ense set u* as soon as *ossible. With a bank you 0ill be able to build # destroyers

    a *layer. Both attackers as de$enders 0ill ha)e to build destroyers to de$end their banks and $arm. The

    de$ender should make some more handymen a$ter buildin' the to0ers. These are needed to make

    re*airs on the to0ers as the attacker tries to destroy them. 3urther into the 'ame the attacker 0ill

    become really stron' and you 0ill need some e. % lot o$ attackers try to stun the de$ender so you

    should consider 'ettin' an %M *ack. When a attacker almost kills your to0er or e)en 0orse your

    $arm cast cyclone on him 0hich 0ill send him $lyin' buyin' your handymen time to re*air the

    structure. It is essential that you dis*el any %M as soon as *ossible because you can6t cast cyclone on

    him 0hen he has %M on. This re;uires a bit o$ micromana'ement and you 0ill 0ant to consider

    *uttin' *riest on auto cast abolish ho0e)er this isn6t as $ast as doin' it by hand and so you 0ill still

    need to react $ast. %n im*ortant thin' in the de$ense is kee*in' alert =enemy may be in)isible> and he

    must kno0 the hotkeys $or his skills to ;uickly cast s*ells. % hero *layin' $or about an hour can kill you$arm in +7/ hits and 0hich e;uals about #7 seconds. This is a really small time $rame in 0hich to 0ork

    and this is 0hat makes de$ense both $un and hard. When you master this techni;ue you 0ill be able to

    hold o$$ attacks $rom heroes 0ith o)er 1!!! dama'e. %lso the de$ender should noti$y the attacker i$ he

    needs any resources such as cyclones or %M5 $or he cannot lea)e his *osition5 the attacker in return

    should buy these items durin' his rush and dro* them in the base 0hen he res*a0ns.

    5 Saving gold

    &.1 Player saving'Pool save

    The $irst sa)in' techni;ue is sendin' your 'old to another *layer on the team. This is the easiest 0ay to

    sa)e as 0ell as the most e$$ecti)e since you lose a minimal amount o$ 'old =+7-'>. Ho0e)er this is also aslo0 0ay to sa)e your 'old. The idea is that be$ore your hero dies you send all your 'old =and kee*

    sendin'> to another *layer on your team. %$ter you ha)e died he 0ill then 'i)e the ri'ht amount o$

    'old back to you.

    &.2 hrining

    The second 0ay is mostly used by attackers 0ho 0ill die in a matter o$ seconds and 0ho do need all

    their attention on the task they are doin' and can6t a$$ord to o*en the allies 0indo0. The idea is that

    be$ore you die =this can be literally 8ust 1 second be$ore you die> you ;uickly select your hot keyedshrine=mostly bein' 2 or #5 1 bein' the hero himsel$> and you start sendin'trainin' units. %$ter you

    ha)e died you cancel the units and the 'old 0ill be returned to you. This is a 'ood 0ay to sa)e 'old $ast

    ho0e)er you need to kno0 0hich units can be used in this techni;ue. 3or instance *eons ha)e a )ery

    short build time and are not a 'ood o*tion to build5 ability 0a)es or handymen ho0e)er are a )ery

    'ood o*tion. These ha)e a *retty lon' build time 0hich is in $a)or o$ your time to cancel. %t later 'ame

    you 0ill be able to use demolishers or 0indi'o bratF and e)en later you 0ill be able to use hydralisks to

    ha)e your 'old. Hydralisks ha)e a really lon' build time 0hich makes thin's a lot easier on you. %nother

    techni;ue you can use is to use a co)er as I like to call it. It means that you $irst send slo0 trainin'

    troo*s a$ter 0hich you can send $ast troo*s because they 0ill be *ut in the ;uench and 0on6t be build
