Series ECG/ECG45
Series ECG egg crate grilles are the industry standard extract grille.
Comprising a core with over 90% free area, with vanes parallel toairflow, egg crate grilles are capable of handling huge air volumeswith minimal noise generation or pressure drop. Ideal for areasrequiring high changeover rates like restaurant kitchens, paintingbooths etc.
A 45° core is also available, with a similar high free area, butintroducing non vision properties from certain angles, or giving anangled throw if used for supply.

Removable core
Fitted with spring loaded quarter turn fasteners, theouter frame has angle brackets fixed to the inside ofthe neck.
The inner removable frame holds the chrome plated,slotted head studs, for removal with a flatheadscrewdriver.
Other stud types are available for use with allen keys,or with a larger head for removal by hand.

Hinged core
Enabling the core to hinge outwards may bepreferable to it being fully removable.
The full length piano hinge at one side is discreet,and gives minimal loss of core area.
The inner core is held in place by a chrome platedcam fastener as standard, bolts are optional.

Fixings
Countersunk fixing holes: Code suffix FH
Countersunk fixing holes in the grille frame are theeasiest fitting method. Screws in the same finishare supplied with the grille.
Concealed fixings: Code suffix CF
Consisting of L brackets with threaded ports, oneL bracket is fixed into the ductwork or plenum, theother is riveted to the rear of the grille frame.Supplied bolts are then used to hold the grille intothe supporting structure.
Push-in clip method: Code suffix PC
These sprung clips are compressed when the grilleis pushed into place. The outward force providedthen holds the grille securely in place.
This fixing method is not suitable for use inceilings.
Goalpost method: Code suffix GB
Enables the grille’s removal by accessing boltsthrough the face.
