A chemistry Paper can be split into Practical Chemistry,Numericals and simple concept based questions.The majority of the question paper will consist of practicalchemistry, a minor portion of Numericals and a few conceptbased questions.


Practical chemistry worth 15-17 marks in S-I and 23-25marks in S-IINumericals worth 3-5 marks in S-I and 8 marks in S-IIConcept-based questions worth 20-23 marks in S-I and22-25 marks in S-II

In a given week study questions of Type 1: For 1 day a weekType 2: 3 day a week Type 3: 1 hour a weekFirst, read a given chapter roughly and then finish it thoroughly on yoursecond read. In type 1 do not learn more than one chapter a week and notmore than 2 chapters a week in type 2. Since the numerical part is smalldo it towards the end. Stress on mastery over quantity


Choose 4 days of a week and dedicate 2-3 hours per day to chemistry onthose 4 days as per your own requirement. Remember only studying will do no good. Post learning always practicethe same!Try to finish your learning and revision within 4 weeks and then focus onthe development of the exam temperament by solving papers in real time!This is the most crucial part!

Dedicate and focus your time. Chemistry can be hardto concentrate on so, don't waste your time. Once yousit for your 2-3 hours focus on what you are learningand do not get distracted!

Highlight important observations and write andpractice equations.


Dedicate 30 min before bed and 30 min after you wakeup for revision. Find a friend who is serious as you and quiz each otherregularlyAlways learn practical chemistry in terms of comparativeanalysis.


Stick to the syllabus. CISCE has defined a syllabusclearly and never sways away from it. So stick to onlyyour syllabusAnalyze examiner remarks on previous year paperswhich are available on the CISCE website.Solve as many model question papers as you can todevelop speed and exam temperament and do it in real-time with absolute honesty
