This piece is a scratchboard profile of my own macaw, Mariah. This was an assignment in my second illustration class, and was created using only an Exacto knife and a 4-point scratch tool.

This is another piece that was an assignment from one of my illustration classes. Our instructor layed out several pictures of animals, and us students were to pick one we wanted to draw in graphite.So as you can see, I picked the monkey, partly because monkeys are my favorite animal, and also because I thought the close up hair would be a challenge,because I’ve never really drawn a realistic animal before this.

This might be my favorite piece. This was a final project for my second illustration class. I wanted to use graphite because it’s my most comfortable illustration medium. This is my favorite characters, Zed, in my favorite game, League of Legends. It’s my favorite because I think it turned out really well, and is accurate to the picture reference I used.

This piece is for my Step-father. He is a Sergeant Detective in the Washington State Patrol. He wanted me to design a tattoo for him that was a black and white american flag, with a blue line in it. After some research, I discovered that it is another symbol for US law enforcement. This is the design that I came up with, and is all done in Photoshop.

This is actually a piece from my very first Graphic Design class. The assign-ment was to create a fictional business, and an animal-based logo, in a basic shape (triangle, square, circle), for said business. I wanted to make a logo for a bar and grill, so I used a deer because a deer’s face is a natural trian-gle, and I thought a deer best fit the theme.
