DESCRIPTION
Students worked within small groups and were given a very vague prompt: create a design solution that will exist within the environment. The focus of the project was actually on defining a problem; devising an actionable, site-specific solution and then putting the solution into practice. Hunter Payne, Caitlin Burns and Travis Staton developed a plan for a red, two-person swing with the question '...is this real life?' painted on the seat. A very simple yet enganging solution to the headlong rush of students moving across campus.TRANSCRIPT
