Then Bro. Emil Easter, a Swampy Cree Indian from Canada, greeted us in full headdress, and shared how the colors of the headdress represent the cross!
Yellow = light of God Black = sin White = Holy Spirit Red = blood of Jesus
This evening our guest speaker was Rev. John Maracle preaching the Word of God! Bro. Maracle is the President of the USA Native American Fellowship and Executive Presbyter of the AG Ethnic Fellowship. He is a member of the Mohawk tribe - this land crosses both Canada and the USA! There are 901 different tribes in America, but there are only 190 Indian Churches in the whole world!
Rev. Maracle talked about the ABCs of Pentecost, with important words: Anointing Attitude Activation Actions Burden Boldness Compassion Commitment Call Chosen Christlikeness
There are also 5 essential values:
• Exalt the name of Jesus.
• Evangelize our world.
• Edify our believers.
• Employ our gifts.
• Extend our generosity.
Many people were touched by God as the Spirit moved in our hearts and minds!! God is at work!!
Tomorrow’s newsletter will have a

coming in the next few months. Feel
free to add your event! Give info to

On Tuesday night, Rev. Mike Hartman hosted the evening service. Olivia Bibb shared important news -- 1) The daily newsletter will be
posted at www.wdag.org It will also be interpreted into Japanese and Korean sign languages. After the convention, everyone will get a CD with the group picture, program book, and newsletters!
2) Everyone can use the Wi-Fi router here at this convention:
Name: WDAG Conference Password: spirit2014 3) Visit the booth exhibit area in the small gym. If you have all the different booth people sign your sheet, you will have a chance to win a prize! “Signs of Wonder” once again did a wonderful dance/drama -- truly an awesome picture of God’s love.
The “Youth With A Mission” students have worked in so many areas of our conference to help us. They did a powerful drama called “The Mask”!
Some international pastors were introduced - ministers from Thailand, Honduras, and Nigeria. They briefly shared about their ministries and how God is doing some great things!! Rev. Rod Renusch prayed for the evening offering, then “Hands of Grace” led a powerful and exciting song of worship and praise!! Many people loved this song!! May we always take time to worship our Lord!
AWESOME EVENING SERVICE!

National Deaf Culture Fellowship and World Deaf Assemblies of God Wednesday, June 25th, 2014
On Monday, the “National Deaf Culture Fellowship of the Assemblies of God” (NF) began our regular biennial business meeting. President Belinda McCleese opened the meeting with prayer at 2:15 PM. Information and many reports were passed out. The 2012 meeting minutes were accepted as revised, with needing to add the total number of NF members and total balance on the treasurer’s report. We have 35 voting members this year. Rev. Belinda McCleese gave a good President’s Report - accepted. VP Bill Gipple asked that all the rest of the reports be accepted as read, except for the financial report. Passed. No other unfinished business left from 2012. NF treasurer’s financial report for 2012-2013 was presented by Olivia Bibb. Since 2009, we always have a free audit by the General Council headquarters auditor -- passed. Total income for the past two years is down from both churches and individuals, and because the last NF convention only had 75 persons. Financial report passed. Also Olivia presented a member’s report, comparing 2004-2012. Passed. Emory Dively explained the qualifications of the president’s office. VP Bill Gipple led the nominations time and voting. 6 candidates were voted on - Rev. Belinda McCleese was re-elected. NF Administrative Committee presented a qualified secretary for consideration of a yes/no vote - Rev. Emory Dively. After voting, Emory was re-elected as secretary. At 3:50 PM, our meeting divided into four caucuses - to discuss and vote on the regional representatives and alternates to serve for the next two years. We closed in prayer to continue the NF business meeting tomorrow morning. On Tuesday, the NF Business Meeting started again at 9:15 AM with opening prayer by Bill Gipple. Regional results are: • South Central Region - Representative
Mike Hartman, no alternate. • West Region - Representative Tom
Mather, with no alternate.
• Northeast Region - Representative Nancy Tonnessen, with Duane Somero as the north alternate, and Lene Hobbs as the south alternate.
• North Central Region - Representative Pauline Ballentine, with alt Carol Vetter.
NF site bids were presented for the 2018 convention. St. Louis, Los Angeles, and Valley Forge Christian College (30 minutes from Philadelphia) were considered. After voting, VFCC was elected by a high percent of the members present. Resolutions chair JoAnn Smith took the floor. No resolutions were sent in from the membership. Some members requested that resolution templates be sent out early in both mail and email format. Passed. Three resolutions were presented by the administrative committee. #1 - NF can receive resolutions by email or mail. Amended to say “and/or”. Passed. #2 - Remove any reference to electronic voting (same as General Council did). Passed. #3 - combine the President and Vice-President election process to be same as the secretary and treasurer’s nominating process starting in 2016. This is to be able to screen candidates in advance. Passed. Two courtesy resolutions were represented -- appreciation to the Bay Area local churches for their hard work, and thanks to California School for the Deaf in Fremont. Both were passed. The 2014 NF Business meeting adjourned at 10:30 AM. A memorial service followed the meeting -- for ministers that died in last two years: Rev. Jimmy Schwyhart, Okla. Passed Aug. 26, 2012 Rev. Bea Berry, Calif. Passed Oct. 31, 2013 Rev. Ron Dewitt, Louisiana Passed Jan. 2, 2014
