Prescott United Church Disciples of Christ Church cordially invites area churches, local law enforcement, and the general public to attend an informational meeting about child exploitation and sex trafficking in Iowa. Did you know? Sex trafficking is a $150 billion dollar industry worldwide and is on pace with the drug and illegal arms dealing. It's on interstate 80 and Interstate 35 and just a couple clicks away on your home computer, its right here in America's heartland. It exists in rural Iowa, you are not immune. Why should you attend? You will be provided with tools to assist you in identifying who might be a target in child sexual exploitation and human trafficking, where they look for their victims and how the public can assist in this growing issue. About the featured speaker From the Iowa Department of Justice-Office of the Attorney General Mr. Ferjack will be the guest speaker. He has trained investigators and agents throughout the United States and Canada on interview, interrogation and investigative techniques and has served on the adjunct faculty of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. He is an invited guest lecturer at Drake University’s Law School speaking on sex crimes, sexual predators and human trafficking issues and is an adjunct professor for three Iowa College and University criminal justice programs. Mike has been called as an expert to testify before the Iowa Legislature and the United States Congress on the topic of Human Trafficking.
