Human Resources Case Study (Recruiting) INDUSTRY: NON-PROFIT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RESULTS ECS worked with the client to understand the non-profit’s future vision and develop the ideal path to get there. New talent was needed to accomplish this goal, and ECS was actively involved in every step of the detailed recruitment process that resulted in the hiring of outstanding new employees. BACKGROUND The non-profit client, a national consultancy, has the mission of reversing the high unemployment rate for people with disabilities across the U.S. Offering an array of recruiting, consultation and training services, the client approached ECS with a mix of HR and recruitment challenges. OBJECTIVES ECS was tasked to: Assess the current strategy, direction, and structure of the organization to ensure alignment with the current vision • Create new job descriptions and behavioral-based interview guides • Research market compensation data to ensure a competitive compensation structure • Provide full life-cycle recruiting services (sourcing, coordination, screening interviews, presentation of candidates to client, extension of offers) SOLUTIONS ECS analyzed the client’s current organization structure and proposed revisions to more closely align with the organization’s vision and direction.
