TRANSFER CREDIT FROM ANOTHER COLLEGEIf you started a degree at another regionally or nationally accredited college or university, you may be able to transfer credits toward your CCU degree. You can also earn credit through CCU’s partnership with Straighterline.

Associate Degree: up to 45 credits

Bachelor’s Degree: up to 90 credits

PRIOR LEARNING CREDITSave time and money by earning college credit for your life experience. There are two ways of doing so: credit by portfolio and credit by exam. Build a portfolio of your post-high school personal and professional learning experiences. Or take advantage of low-cost CLEP, DSST, and UExcel testing options to test out of electives and many general education requirements.

ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT The Associate of Science in Human Resource Management will equip you with foundational human resource generalist knowledge and incorporates a biblical worldview and scriptural principles into each subject area.

Focus areas in this program include organizational behavior, human resource administration, business law, and leadership and management. This associate degree will provide you with a foundation for career advancement. Should you wish to continue on to complete a bachelor’s degree in HR, all 60 credit hours from the associate degree may be applied to the Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Successful organizations recognize employees as their most valuable asset, providing the skill, knowledge, and commitment that brings true worth to the organization. This realization has placed human resource management at the forefront of organizational leadership as vital to organizational performance.

The Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management combines human resource management with biblical and ethical principles of leadership, enhancing career possibilities in HR, management, and business fields.

Focus areas in the Human Resources degree include training and development, workforce planning, labor and employment law, compensation, performance management, and benefits.

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT The Master of Science in Human Resource Management program will instill you with the knowledge and tools necessary to become an integral part of organizational leadership and the decision-making team. The program’s breadth will cover the responsibilities, challenges, and competencies that contribute to effective human resource management.

Focus areas include planning and acquisition of talent; emerging trends; aligning employee performance with organizational goals; global talent management; labor relations; decision making with data and analytics; ethics; legalities; and contemporary challenges.

CERTIFICATE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT The Certificate in Human Resource Management combines essential human resource functions, roles and responsibilities, as well as HR generalist knowledge with a biblical worldview and ethical principles. Courses include Business Fundamentals, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Administration.

This certificate is available as a stand-alone program, or you can transfer 12 credits from the certificate to the CCU bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (see above). The HR management certificate can also be used to supplement a CCU bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, or Organizational Management in Christian Leadership or Project Management.
