ESSETIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITYS:Other duties may be assigned.

Help enforce policies and procedures through the company that adhere to federal and applicable state employment laws.

Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Director.

Record keeping and file maintenance.

Help conduct interviews in the hiring process under the supervision of the Human Resource Director.

Be involved in the termination process under the supervision of the Human Resource Director.

Enter payroll, benefit, and billing information into the company’s computer system.

Analyze employee recruiting and retention.

Order office supplies as needed by staffing.

Be proficient in typing and computer related skills.

Help field employee questions pertaining to benefits, compensation, payroll, personnel files, and all questions involving Human Resources.

Work with recruitment to find new employees.

Organizing work activities and events for the company.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONSBe proficient in typing and computer skills. Good employee relation skills. A qualified candidate will need the knowledge and ability to work with all types of office equipment. This position requires good organization skills. The candidate must be comfortable working face to face with people.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSN/A

PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to sit most of the day, use hands and fingers well in order to type, answer phones, and file papers. Requires the ability to hear and speak clearly. Must be able to lift between 10 and 25 pounds.
