What is the Hult Prize?

• Launch a start-up enterprise that can radically change the world

• The case study, which changes every year, is selected, announced, and narrated by President Bill Clinton.

• The theme for this year’s Hult Prize competition is:

Improving Childhood Education

Hult Prize at JHU• Teams can submit an application online for the regional

finals or compete through Hult Prize at JHU , a quarterfinals competition.

• The winning team will bypass the general application round and advance directly into the Hult Prize regional finals.

• Hult Prize at JHU is open to current JHU students only; this includes undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students.

• Teams can include up to one alumnus, who is not also a JHU faculty member.

I ’m in! What’s Next?

Step 1: Review the case at www.hultprizeat.com/jhu.

Step 2: Put together a team. Teams can include members from any JHU school. Mix it up!

Step 3: Register your Hult Prize at JHU team at www.hultprizeat.com/jhu by Nov 3rd.

Step 4: Prepare an 8 minute pitch for your solution.

Step 5: Present to a diverse panel of executives, scholars, non-profit leaders, and social entrepreneurs on Nov 15th.

Step 6: If you are the winning team, congrats! Your team immediately advances to the regional finals.

If your team does not win Hult at JHU, you can still apply online through hultprize.org.
