Hult provided me with the background I needed to make an impact at my company and really stand out from the crowd.

WHY HULTI liked the idea of a one-year program with opportunities for rotation to several established and emerging business hubs around the world. Other programs that I considered offered very strong global education from a theoretical point of view; however, I was more intrigued by the direct practical application that was offered by Hult.

MY LIFE AT HULT

The atmosphere on campus directly reflected the atmosphere of our surrounding environment in Shanghai. There is a general feeling of optimism and opportunity that stems from the hundreds of students on campus who are empowered daily to achieve the goals they had set for themselves when they first began at Hult. Things happen very quickly at Hult as you not only experience a new world in whichever location you choose, but you are also exposed to various new cultures and perspectives. You are presented with numerous challenging business cases and projects, and pushed to discover your own strengths and learn how to apply them in new ways. The professors draw every student into each lesson and give them an opportunity to add value. I participated in a variety of on campus clubs/activities including the Marketing Club, Finance Club, and the launch of TEDX Hult Shanghai. I often look back fondly on the ups and the downs of living and working with people who have a completely different view of the world than me. The people I spent my time with and the city I lived in very much shaped my time at Hult and the memories that came along with it. Other than the obvious network that the Hult Alumni Association provides, Hult helped me develop my connections by constantly exposing me to professionals at various companies. We frequently had guest speakers and company visits. The Action Project also was a great tool for getting exposure to global companies and communities. The main benefit of being a Hult alumnus is that your network never stops growing. Every time a new campus opens, many doors with known and unknown opportunities behind them open as well. I am constantly being put into contact with other Hult alumni for various reasons. We are a very large family!

A GLOBAL HULT EXPERIENCE

I remain very involved on the Shanghai campus. I frequently speak to current and prospective students to talk about my own experience at Hult and the transition that followed graduation.

MY CAREER

My career is developing fairly quickly. Hult has helped me not only structure my approach to starting my career, but also by providing me with the background I needed to make an impact at my company and really stand out from the crowd.
