Huawei Android Wear smartwatch launching in MarchChinese mobile maker Huawei has revealed a smartwatch up in its sleeve. The device will be powered by Google’s Android Wear operating system and will be launched around March. The company, now a days, is committed to launch its first wearable running Android Wear, which will be readily available to view at Mobile World Congress. MWC is the big event for mobile in Europe, hosted in Barcelona, with all the giants like HTC, Samsung, Sony and LG all attending.

Huawei will reveal at least one wearable to the event, that eans that it may come in different models or prices. Huawei will be eyeing a tough competition against the Apple Watch, Moto 360 and LG G Watch R, the three most popular smartwatches at the moment.

“We will launch a series of new wearable devices this year,” Ada Xu Huawei’s Global Director of Public Relations said addressing TrustedReviews at the company’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China. She added: “Wearables were a hot topic at CES. Maybe it will be a hot topic again at Mobile World Congress.”
