S Standard feature - Look out for the symbol. It means the feature comes as standard with the scooter.S

ST scooter range Tips for Safer Driving

1) Take extra care when you cannot see ahead, such as when you are approaching a corner or where a wall or hedge is restricting your view.

2) Always look out for pedestrians and other road users. Pedestrians may not see or hear you.

3) You must make sure you don’t run into anyone or cause any damage with your scooter.

4) It’s a good idea to wear a fluorescent tabard to increase your visibility to others.

5) Even if you have a Class 3 scooter, try to avoid very busy roads.

6) When you are passing parked cars, look out for doors opening.

7) You must give way to pedestrians on crossings.

You must follow the Highway Code for Mobility Scooter Users when driving your scooter(you can pick up a free copy of this code at your local Days Healthcare retailer).

If you are using a scooter for the first time, or if it has been a while since you have driven onthe road, it’s a good idea to go on a training course. Please ask your local Days Healthcareretailer for more information about courses near you.

8) Always obey traffic lights and other road signals and instructions.

9) Keep to the left when driving on roads.

10) To turn right, it may be safer to turn on to the pavement and use a pedestrian crossing to cross the road. If there is no pavement, it may be safer to stop on the left and wait for a safe gap in the traffic.

We hope you enjoy the extra freedom and independence your new gives you!
