With Tiny Train the pattern repeat is made in way that makes it possible to create trains in various lengths, leaving the fi nal design in the hands on the person putting up the wallpaper.

A Apply paste onto the wall with a rol-ler. Put on paste for about 2-3 lengths at a time. Use a brush to apply paste by ceiling, fl oor and edges.

B Pull up one length of wallpaper di-rectly from the roll/fl oor, and hang it on the pasted wall. Make sure you have a few extra centimeters of wallpaper at the ceiling and fl oor and make sure that the wallpaper hangs straight.

C Make sure that the wallpaper hangs correctly by hanging a pair of scissors on a string from the ceiling.

D Smooth the section of wallpaper from the top down and from the cen-tre outwards. Use a wallpaper brush or spatula and make sure that all air bubb-les are removed.

E Trim excess wallpaper using a sharp wallpaper knife.

F Hang the next section by butting the edges together. Make sure that the pat-tern matches across the two sections. Wash away excess paste with a damp, soft sponge. Do not rub.

BEFORE

· Remember to account for pattern repeat· Always use paste suitable for non-woven wallpaper· Check that all rolls of wallpaper have the same batch number. Be sure to buy enough rolls with matching batch numbers in order to get the same colour on all rolls (the batch number is printed on the label in the bottom right-hand corner). · If you have large colour differences on wall, the wall must be primed before hanging the wallpaper (primarily when using bright wallpaper).

AFTER

· Make sure to ventilate the room well to make the wallpaper dry.· The wallpaper is washable. If needed, wipe off with a damp sponge. Wipe off vertically and do not rub.

Find a wooden tray, paste the bottom with wallpaper paste and line it with your favorite wallpaper. To seal it off coat it with a layer of laquer.

End the project with serving a nice cup of coffee!

Use your small wallpaper leftovers to create this festive garland. Use

a sewing mashine to attach the wallpaper triangles to a braid.

Perfect for throwing a garden party or a kid’s birthday.

Make your book covers shine –cover them in your favorite wallpaper.

Ask your local wine dealer to get some spare wooden boxes. Apply paste on the inside and cover with wallpaper. Now you have a perfect

little book case or shelf.

This Summer, we started printing our new designs using the old-fashioned surface printing technique. This technique results in a very unique, stencil-like look – an amazing look that we love and wanted to bring into our wallpaper collection. The beautiful, charming printing machine applies the ink to the wallpaper in such a way that the fi nal result has a beauti-ful, hand-painted feel. The entire process

requires much technical skills and experi-ence, as the amount of ink and pressure that is applied to the roller is regulated by hand. Each colour you see on the fi nal product is mixed by hand in order to get the perfect fi t for the design. We fi nd that this very special technique is a perfect fi t for these four designs and we are excited to bring a new dimension to our wallpaper designs.

THIS AUTUMN, WE ARE LAUNCHING A VERY SPECIAL COLLECTION OF FERM LIVING WALLPAPER DESIGNS. FOUR NEW DESIGNS PRINTED USING A VERY UNIQUE AND TRADITIONAL PRINTING TECHNIQUE DATING BACK TO THE EARLY 1800s – THE SURFACE PRINTING TECHNIQUE.

Imagination can Defy Gravity and Bend Time

Our ever-expanding wallpaper collection is characterized by the signature, unique graphic lines inspired by Scandinavian nature and retro patterns. For our new wallpaper collection, we wanted to continue down this path, but we also wanted to bring something new and unexpected into the mix. Emil Kozak’s world of skating and surfi ng was that extra spice we were looking for – he brings a fresh and edgy touch to our own wallpaper designs and it takes part the ferm LIVING wallpaper collection in a new and exciting direction. Emil was born and raised in Denmark, but today he resides in sunny Barcelona, Spain. His graphic designs are inspired by his life-long passion for skateboarding and surfi ng, in fact skateboarding is what inspired him to enter the fi eld of graphic design. His strong affi liation with skateboard-art is

something you won’t miss in his always fresh and positive designs that often convey messages that dig deeper. He has an eye for detail and is a true master of composition and his work is character-ized by typographic, clean lines and few colours. “I hope that my work can remind us that imagina-tion can defy gravity and bend time. It is our own responsibility to enjoy every second of the day. Nobody else can do that for us. Have fun, eat candy, do what you love, love what you do... We might get thrown off this spinning ball of iron and mantle tomorrow”. Combining this philosophy with his brilliant ideas often results in unexpected surprises. He is no stranger to using obscure references, playing with words and incorporat-ing codes and hints into his designs. If you look closely at the two wallpaper designs, you will fi nd his signature logo in there somewhere.

WE WANTED TO BRING A FEW EDGIER DESIGNS INTO OUR WALLPAPER COL-LECTION - SOMETHING YOUNG AND FRESH. WHO BETTER TO CALL THAN DANISH BORN GRAPHIC DESIGNER EMIL KOZAK. WE ASKED EMIL TO COME UP WITH TWO NEW WALLPAPER DESIGNS, AND BOY DID HE DELIVER!
