26th October 2009 To the Principal / Religious Coordinator, Christmas is fast approaching and St Vincent de Paul Society is once again coordinating a Christmas hamper collection. We are looking for schools, businesses and individuals to share the gift of giving and help donate goods for our Christmas hampers. As indicated in the attached brochure, Schools can either hold a food/gift collection or compile hampers to be distributed to those in need. Assembling Christmas hampers is not only an enjoyable experience, it helps the school provide a focus of ‘giving’ in the lead up to Christmas and the end of year celebrations. You may like to contact Tim Taylor, our School Recourses Coordinator and a teacher who works for the Society. Tim Taylor is available to help you launch your appeal or speak with students about how the St Vincent de Paul Society assists people in need, especially at Christmas.
