The Ghana School of Marketing accredited by the
National Accreditation Board and the Chartered
Institute of Marketing, UK was established in October
1991 by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana.
GSM offers tuition to students intending to take the
London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UK
(LCCI) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM,
UK) examinations, comprising the Professional
Certificate, Professional Diploma and Chartered Post
Graduate Diploma Courses. GSM is run on full-time
and part-time bases. GSM affords the convenience to
individuals who work during the day, SSS graduates
and other non-workers who would want to pursue a
professional career.
Students who enrol for courses at the school are
motivated by the institute's highly trained resource
persons and the singular effort by the Institute in
helping graduates with job placement on completion
of their studies/courses. The vision of the Ghana
School of Marketing is to become a model marketing
professional institute, providing top class marketing
education.

Prospective candidates must have at least one of the ff:5 'O' LEVEL PASSES WITH Credit in English and Mathematics3 SSSCE/WASSCE Passes in Core subject including English and Mathematics plus two elective subjects.Any other equivalent qualifications
WHO IS IT FOR?
The LCCI is for any one over the age of 17 wishing to gain the basic skills in Marketing. It is not necessary to have any previous experience or knowledge of marketing to join this course. The programme consists of four modules for the award of Group Diploma in marketing for a duration of 6 months.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: To register for this qualification,
you must meet at least one of the following criteria.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN MARKETING:
i. ‘A’ levels passes in at least two subjects
ii. Group Diploma in Marketing (LCCI) or Advanced
Business Certificate
iii. Any General Bachelors or Masters Degree
NB: The Executive Director has the mandate to determine
the Level of Entry
This programme consists of four subjects with a duration of
10 months (2 papers per each session) intensive course.

This course is intended for CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing holders, and Business or Marketing Bachelors Degree or an equivalent qualification who wish to improve their personal effectiveness in Marketing.
ENTRY CRITERIA
PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN MARKETING:
i. CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing (2002 or 2008 syllabus).
ii. Any Business or Marketing Bachelors Degree (or an equivalent qualification) with a minimum of one-third of credits from Marketing (ie 120 c r ed i t s i n Bache lo r s Deg ree o r 60 credits in Masters Degree).

ENTRY CRITERIA
CHARTERED POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MARKETING:
i. CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing (2003 or 2009 syllabus)
ii. CIM Advanced Certificate in Marketing.
iii. A Business or Marketing Bachelors or Masters Degree (or an equivalent qualification) where a minimum of half of the credits come from Marketing (ie 180 credits in Bachelors Degree or 90 credit in Masters Degree

Admissions are advertised in June and November each year to enable prospective applicants purchase forms for the July and January admissions respectively
SUMMARY OF FEES

The external examination fees are payable in July for December Candidates while June Candidates are to pay their examination fees in March.

The current fees are as follows:
> Professional Certificate in Marketing £85.00 for membership registration and £55.00 per subject
Two modules in the Professional Certificate in Marketing (Marketing Information and Research and Stakeholder Marketing) will attract examination fees of £70.00 each
< Professional Diploma in Marketing £125.00, £75.00 per subject
> Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing £165.00 £90.00per subject
NB: Students seeking exemptions with any other qualification must first seek clearance from CIMG or write to the UK body for approval.
