Summary

Typical Functions

May act as a liaison between multiple departments and the public.14. May design, review, and coordinate engineering plans with architectural plans for construction.15. May participate in the planning and design of new facilities.16. May manage a campus wide utility system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.2. Skilled in the use of computers and software applications, including Word and Excel.3. Skilled in developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.4. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare reports, statements, and/or

projections.5. Ability to follow and enforce safety procedures.6. Ability to train and supervise employees.7. Ability to coordinate and organize schedules.8. Ability to deliver excellent customer service and satisfaction.9. Ability to foster team work.10. Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.11. Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards.12. Knowledge of laws, regulations, codes, methods, and techniques in area of specialty.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree plus five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. Employees are frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 30 pounds).
