Topic : Who moved my Cheese ?

By Dr. SPENCER JOHNSON

About the story.

“Who moved my cheese ?”, Is the story of four Imaginary characters lived in a maze who faced unexpected change when they discovered their “cheese” has disappeared . Each adapted to change in their “maze” differently. In fact, one doesn’t adapt at all….

THE CHARACTERS.

“SCURRY”, Who is always scurry in to action ,whenever it may be .

“SNIFF”, Who has the ability to sniff out change early.

Two of them were MICE:-

“HAW”, Is a little person who learns to adapt in time when he sees changing can lead to something better.

“HEM”, who denies and resists change as he fears it will lead to something worse.

And two of them where LITTLE PEOPLE:-

What is a Cheese?Cheese is a metaphor for what you want to have in life—whether it is a good job, a loving relationship, money, a possession, health or peace of mind.

And the maze is where you look for what you want—the organization you work in, or the family or community you.

Haw finally found the new cheese station “N” and he learnt that “the quicker you let go of old cheese, the sooner you find new cheese” and he also learnt that “ If you do not change, you can become extinct”.

HAW had a habit of writing in the wall “What all he learns and experiences in his journey while searching new cheese”

And while his way to the new search he all the time remembered his friend HEM.

It took time to change him but he managed the change and changed accordingly towards the new cheese.

This is a situation when HEM was hungry and was alone in the cheese station “C”. Though he was hungry he denied to the new change and new cheese, thinking of the hurdles in the maze

Learning's from this book :

One should learn from this book is :

How to keep your life easy and not to complicate things.

One should learn to notice small changes early which will help you to adapt the bigger changes that are to come.

The more important your cheese is to you the more you want to hold on to it.

Imagining yourself enjoying your new cheese leads you to it.

When you stop being afraid you feel good.

Old beliefs do not lead you to new cheese.

THANK YOU
