Q1: Tell me about yourself

Thanks to give me opportunity to introduce myself in front of you.

I’m an innovative HR executive with 5 years of experience managing almost all aspects of the HR function — from recruiting to training to benefits and I am very passionate about it. I have a strong record of delivering results on time and within budget.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming and volunteering at the Rotary Club in town.

Q2: Are you currently working somewhere?

Yes, I am currently working as an HR officer at AGP Pvt. Ltd.

Q3: Why are you leaving your current job?

I was quite enthusiastic while joining my last job. Towards the end, the number of challenges and opportunity to grow further started diminishing. A challenge loving and growth oriented person like me doesn’t enjoy this.

Q4: What do you know about AGP? Why AGP?

Well I know that it is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Pakistan, providing a broad range of pharmaceutical services and its mission is to create value for the customers, employees and shareholders, through effective use of available resources.

Q5: What are your strengths and weaknesses:

Strength: I have a strong intuition about people's attitude that helps me better analyze which position would be perfect for them in an organization. I'm flexible, Focused and above all have a human touch in everything I do.

Weakness:  While dealing with the employee’s problems at times I get very attached to them but I think this helps me in understanding their problems better and offering them a solution while being within the company limits. I have experienced that this attitude of mine towards the staff help them being more open to me and loyal to the company.

Q6: What do you think a Senior HR officer does?

Q7: What qualities and attributes should an HR professional must have?

Knowledge, Intuition, Versatility, Flexibility, Focus and ability to understand human behavior.

Q8: In your professional career, what motivational factor have you found work best?

Well, I have found that there is not one tool that is universally applicable to motivate every employee at any position in the organization. But in general, according to my observation and experience, the working environment and work itself acts as the best motivators.

Q9: So you think money is not the best motivator?

It is, for some employees specially working on the lowest level in an organization. But as you move up, money loses its power to act as the primary motivator.

Q10: Why should we hire you?

For starters, I do not seek to be employed just for the sake of it. I have a great deal of passion about HR and I have a sense of commitment and loyalty towards my work. Secondly, my 5 years experience in Brooks has equipped me with job relevant knowledge and ability to deal with complex situation that call for immediate action and remedies.

Q11: Do you have any queries?

Yes actually. I would like to know what is the next step in the hiring process. How soon should I expect feedback?

- In the next week, if you are shortlisted, you would be called to come for a second interview with the General Manager.

I am passionately interested in training and development for working people as its give me energy to work with more creativity and delicately
