HRC Newsletter March 2018
Great entry this weekend for the ENEOS New Zealand Endurance Final this
weekend at Pukekohe. Interesting cars entered with McLaren, Ferrari Porsche,
Aston Martin, Camaro, Audi, BMW, Lotus and many other makes. Discounted
tickets available on www.hrcevents.co.nz (press shop). We have over 230 drivers
taking part which makes this one of the biggest Championship meetings.
Entries are listed below with the program. If you are member of HRC just show
your membership card at the gate and get free entry ! A big thank you to Kel,
Karen and David from NIRDEC and SIRDEC for providing such an exotic field.
Thanks also to SsangYong and 2K Cup for providing capacity grids and also to
Rick Cooper and Mark Petch for allowing HRC to share their date at Pukekohe.

Last weekend our Legends of Speed meeting was a success when we
managed over 200 competitors into 49 events and finished by 4.30pm on
Sunday. I would like to thank all drivers who donated generous prizes for the
volunteers and the volunteers were most appreciative at their prize giving.

The Great Lakes Taupo meeting is on the 7th and 8th April and will feature Alfa
Trofeo (sat) , Superkarts,Historic Sports Sedans, Historic Muscle Cars, Historic
Saloon Cars, Sports Cars , Formula Libre , Super Laps, 2K Cup, Improved
Production Cars (Sunday ). Classic Touring Cars have pulled out of the
meeting. Enter online at www.motorsportentry.com
A month later HRC will host the Season Finale at Hampton Downs and classes
racing are , BMW Enduro (sat), Super Karts, 2K Cup (Sat), Classic Trial
Enduro (sat) , Superlaps, Formula Libre, Mini Racing Series, Honda Enduro,
Improved Production Cars (Sun), Hooters Vintage Series.

HRC is now starting to finalise the calendar for next season, at present we are
waiting on the premier calendar so we can avoid any clashes and also have a
program which makes life easier for the volunteers.
The MSNZ Annual General Meeting is on the Friday /Saturday 25th 26th May
and HRC will be represented by Tim Hill and Chris & James Watson. If anyone
has any matters they want discussed forward them to me and I will be happy to
present them at the AGM. Three Board positions are up for election and HRC
will be supporting candidates with a business background
