The cycling route begins in the centre 1 of Zlatar from where you take Varaždinska Ubrzo stižete do raskrižja 6 (9,3 km od starta) na kojem skrenite lijevo i nastavite se uspinjati. Odavde kreće niz uspona koji će vas na kraju nagraditi predivnim pogledom na južno Zagorje. Samo izdržite. Na raskrižju 7 (10,3 km od starta) uspon završava te nastavljate lijevo grebenskom cestom s koje se pruža predivan pogled na krajolik. Uživajte u zasluženom odmoru jer vas čeka još uspinjanja. U naselju Meštrovići uspinjanje ponovno započinje, ali prostor je, srećom, otvoren i možete uživati u pogledu. U naselju Perići, na raskrižju 8 (12,1 km od starta) nastavite desno. Na Y raskrižju 9 (14,8 km od starta) skrenite lijevo. Budite oprezni jer je križanje lako promašiti. Pratite glavni makadamski put i na 17,3 km od starta izlazite iz šume i otvara se predivan pogled. U naselju Gornja Selnica završava makadam i nastavlja asfaltni put. Ubrzo dolazite na T raskrižje 10 (19 km od starta) i skrenite desno. Oprez, raskrižje je lako promašiti. HR Dvadeset i jedna biciklistička ruta Krapinsko- zagorske županije raspoređena je i cjelovito prikazana na prve četiri biciklističke karte (Zagorje biciklistička karta 1-4). Četiri državne biciklističke rute (Zagorska, Toplička, Sutla i Trakošćan) te velika županijska ruta prikazane su na kartama 1-4 informativno. Zbog duljina novih ruta te prostora koji obuhvaćaju, bilo je moguće prikazati samo njihove segmente. Cjelovite trase i opisi ovih ruta nalaze se na petoj karti (Zagorje biciklistička karta 5) koja obuhvaća cijelu Krapinsko-zagorsku županiju. Biciklistička ruta započinje u središtu Lobora 1. Nastavljate prema sjeveru u smjeru Starog Golubovca. Ruta prolazi malo prometnom asfaltnom cestom uz potok Reka. Prolazite nogometno igralište i dolazite do Y raskrižja (3,8 km od starta) na kojem se nalazi vodoopskrbni objekt. Na raskrižju držite lijevu stranu. Desno se odvaja put za Stari grad Lobor. U naselju Stari Golubovec završava uspinjanje i počinje spuštanje na kojem se možete odmoriti, jer slijedi još jedan malo teži uspon. Cesta u nastavku je i dalje jako lijepa za vožnju i praktički bez prometa. Na Y raskrižju 2 (7,6 km od starta) oprezno skrenite desno na glavnu cestu i nastavite s laganim uspinjanjem do naselja Gora Veternička. Na raskrižju 3 (9,2 km od starta) skrenite lijevo. U nastavku kreće vrlo strmi uspon na kojem će poneki morati i kratko gurati. Srećom, najteži dio nije dugačak, a cesta je asfaltna. Na završetku uspona otvara se predivan pogled na okolicu i na sljedećem raskrižju 4 (11 km od starta) prolazimo kapelu Ranjenog Isusa i nastavljamo lijevom stranom. U nastavku je nešto strmiji spust i prolazimo pored Zbornog kaptola čazmansko- varaždinski. Ubrzo se spuštamo u dolinu i na T raskrižju 5 (13,8 km od starta) oprezno skrećemo lijevo na glavnu cestu i nastavljamo u smjeru Mihovljana. U Mihovljanu se možete odmoriti i okrijepiti. U nastavku prolazite kroz mali klanac i oronule stare zgrade kupališta u naselju Sutinske Toplice. Nešto dalje s lijeve strane smješten je kompleks bazena u kojima se u ljeto možete i okupati. Na Y raskrižju 6 (20,2 km od starta) nastavite ravno u smjeru naselja Mače. Dolina se polako otvara i pogled postaje širi. Na T raskrižju 7 (22,3 km od starta) oprezno skrenite desno u smjeru Zlatara i Zlatar Bistrice i ubrzo ulazite u naselje Mače. Ako se niste prethodno odmorili, možete se odmoriti i okrijepiti u naselju Mače 8. Ruta dalje nastavlja do Y raskrižja 9 (23,5 km od starta) s raspelom na kojem skrenite lijevo. Ruta polako zakreće prema sjeveru i na raskrižju 10 prolazite pored benzinske pume i nastavljate prema naselju Lobor. Na 27,6 km od starta prolazite pored dvorca Loborgrad koji je s vaše desne strane. Nakon 31 km biciklistička ruta završava u Loboru. Ruta Vranyczany Naselja uz rutu: Sv. Križ Začretje, Sekirišće, Martinec, Veliki Komor, Mače, Poznanovec, Dubovec, Bedekovčina, Kotarice, Mirkovec, Sv. Križ Začretje / Informacije o ruti: Kružna biciklistička ruta provest će vas područjem središnjeg Zagorja s predivnim pogledom na okolicu te će vam omogućiti uživanje u prirodnim ljepotama krajolika. Ruta nije označena signalizacijom za bicikliste, ali je GPS track log dostupan online. Biciklistička ruta prepuna vidikovaca i prelijepe prirode započinje u središtu naselja Sv. Križ Začretje 1. Na početku ili na kraju vožnje, svakako posjetite kompleks dvorca Vranyczany. Ruta vas dalje vodi nadvožnjakom preko autoceste do raskrižja 2 na kojem skrenite lijevo prema naseljima Vojnić-Breg, Kozjak i Sekirišće. Na ovo isto raskrižje ruta pri povratku dolazi s juga. Vozite se dalje uskom udolinom po slabo prometnoj cesti. Na raskrižju 3 (3,6 km od starta) s kapelom skrenite lijevo i nastavite kroz naselje Sekirišće, a zatim usponom pa spustom do raskrižja 4 u naselju Martinec Orehovički. Na raskrižju skrenite lijevo i dalje nastavite makadamskim putem lagano se uspinjući. U naselju Županići na T raskrižju 5 (7,8 km od starta) s pokloncem skrenite desno i nastavite uzbrdo. The road from here is quiet and you pass through the village Borkovec to the Y intersection 2 (2,3 km from start) with crucifix, where you turn left towards Martinšćina. Soon you will pass by the curia Jelačić and continue towards North with a view of Ivanščica. You will pass through the village Ratkovec and after slight ascent you will enter the village Martinšćina. In the centre of Martinšćina 3 (5,8 km from start) the church of St. Martin is situated and at the Y intersection keep right and continue uphill. On the left the road towards the top of Ivanščica branches off. After Martinšćina continue the ride on picturesque roads towards the village Belec. At Y intersection 4 (9 km from start) turn left and go through the village Gornja Batina where, at the intersection 5, after the bridge, keep left. Soon you will enter Belec and come to the church of St. Marija Snježna, where you can rest. Afterwards you can expect some up- and downhill rides, and then you will enter Završje Belečko, where at the intersection 6 (15 km from start) with shrine you follow the main road. Soon you will arrive to the Y intersection 7 (16,6 km from start), turn right onto the macadam road. Caution, the intersection can be easily missed. The route continues on the good macadam road. You will pass by the castle Rukavina and in the village Mezaki the macadam road ends. Continue to ride on the beautiful and quiet road through the valley and pass through the village Pomperovec, where at the intersection 8 (20 km from start) with the chapel of St. Ivan Krstitelj (St. John the Baptist) you turn right. Soon you will arrive to the intersection 9 with the main road and continue right towards Gornja Konjščina. The ride is very quiet and interesting, especially during spring and fall. At the intersection 10 (22,8 km from start) keep left. Near the intersection there are the remains of the curia Valun. You continue through the village Kosovečko to the intersection 11 (28,4 km from start), where you carefully turn left towards centre of Konjščina. Here you can rest and refresh, and be sure to visit the renovated old town Konjščina. the ridge of the hill, from where a beautiful view of the surroundings opens up. The route continues next to the winery Vinski vrh and at the 13th km from start the good macadam road begins. Ride along the ridge road towards village Hunjeki, where at the T intersection 6 (15 km from start) turn left and start the easy ride downhill. Enjoy the beautiful views of the surroundings and stop next to the chapel of St. Benedict in the village Kuzmani. Next to the chapel, at the T intersection 7 (17,5 km from start) turn right and carefully ride downhill to the intersection 8, where you turn right to the next intersection 9 (18,6 km from start), where you continue carefully straight, on the main road with more traffic. The ride on the main road (you can also use the sidewalk, for safety reasons) is short, and leads to the intersection 10 where you carefully turn left and over the railway lines, and continue towards village Krapinica. In the village Gotalovec, next to the social centre and a shrine, at the intersection 11 (22,7 km from start) turn left and continue towards village Zajezda. The route continues along south part of Ivanščica, and at the intersection 12 (23,9 km from start) turn right. Intersection can be easily missed, so be careful. The ride continues over the short macadam road and at the intersection 13 (24,9 km from start), next to the house number 140, turn left. The route slowly turns and continues towards South, you will pass by mining carriage, a monument to the coal mine Zajezda. Quiet and picturesque asphalt road will lead you to the village Budinšćina, where at the roundabout 14 continue left to the intersection 9, and at the intersection 8 continue straight. The route continues on the narrow asphalt road with almost no traffic, and at the intersection 15 (33,8 km from start) continue straight. Continue to ride through the villages Maretić and Jertovec, and in the village Pešćeno pause briefly next to the curia Pešćeno. Na raskrižju 16 (36 km od starta) oprezno skrenite lijevo te nastavite s opreznom vožnjom. Po potrebi se možete voziti i nogostupom. Prolazite pored obnovljene kurije Donja Bedekovčina. Na raskrižju 17 (38,2 km od starta) s raspelom skrećete desno. U nastavku se vozite uskom udolinom kroz naselja Mački, Šamci i Žitnjak do raskrižja 18 (41,2 km od starta), na kojemu se križaju makadamske ceste. Na raskrižju skrenite lijevo, a odmah potom desno te nastavite po asfaltu. Ubrzo stižete na raskrižje 19 (42,2 km od starta) na kojemu skrenite lijevo na makadamski put. Raskrižje je lako previdjeti. Biciklistička se ruta polako približava kraju. Na raskrižju 20, pored restorana Stara škola, oprezno skrenite desno (u blizini je dvorac Mirkovec). Vožnju nastavite u smjeru raskrižja 2 i vašeg cilja, naselja Sv. Križ Začretje. Dvorcima, kurijama i brežuljcima središnjeg Zagorja Naselja uz rutu: Zlatar, Martinšćina, Belec, Gornja Konjščina, Konjščina, Marija Bistrica, Zlatar Bistrica, Zlatar / Dužina rute: 49 km / Vrijeme vožnje: 5 sati / Ukupni uspon: 400 m / Težina rute: 4/5 / Najniža točka na ruti: 170 m / Najviša točka na ruti: 300 m / Početak i završetak rute: Zlatar / Informacije o ruti: kružna biciklistička ruta koja će vas provesti južnim padinama Ivanščice i dolinom rijeke Krapine, obići ćete značajna Zagorska naselja Zlatar, Konjščina i Marija Bistrica. Ruta u početku prolazi mirnim i pitoresknim, a pred kraj nešto prometnijim cestama. Ruta nije označena signalizacijom za bicikliste, ali je GPS track log dostupan online. Kapela Sv. Benedikta u Velikom Komoru / St. Benedict chapel in Veliki Komor Biciklistička ruta započinje u središtu 1 Zlatara odakle Varaždinskom ulicom nastavljate prema sjeveru i naselju Martinšćina. Put je u nastavku miran s malo prometa i prolazite kroz naselje Borkovec do Y raskrižja 2 (2,3 km od starta) s raspelom na kojem skrenite lijevo u smjeru Martinšćine. Ubrzo prolazite pored kurije Jelačić i nastavljate na sjever s pogledom na Ivanščicu. Prolazite kroz naselje Ratkovec i nakon vrlo lagane uzbrdice ulazite u naselje Martinšćina. U središtu Martinšćine 3 (5,8 km od starta) smještena je crkva Sv. Martina i na Y raskrižju držite desnu stranu i nastavljate uzbrdo. Lijevo se odvaja put prema vrhu Ivanščice. Nakon Martinšćine nastavljate pitoresknim cestama prema naselju Belec. Na Y raskrižju 4 (9 km od starta) skrećete lijevo i prolazite naselje G. Batina gdje na raskrižju 5 nakon mosta držite lijevu stranu. Ubrzo dolazite u Belec do crkve Sv. Marije Snježne gdje se možete i odmoriti. Župna crkva sv. Marije Snježne u Belcu jedan je od najljepših primjera barokne umjetnosti u sjevernoj Hrvatskoj. Ovu zavjetnu kapelu posvećenu Sv. Mariji, dala je izgraditi Elizabeta pl. Keglević-Erdody 1674. godine. U nastavku vas očekuje malo vožnje uzbrdo i nizbrdo, te ulazite u Završje Belečko gdje na raskrižju 6 (15 km od starta) s pokloncem pratite glavnu cestu. Ubrzo stižete to Y raskrižja 7 (16,6 km od starta) na kojem skrenite desno na makadamski put. Oprez, raskrižje je lako promašiti. Ruta dalje nastavlja dobrim makadamskim putem. Prolazite pored dvorca Rukavina i u naselju Mezaki završava makadamski put. U nastavku se vozite predivnom i mirnom cestom kroz dolinu i prolazite kroz naselje Pomperovec, gdje na raskrižju 8 (20 km od starta) s kapelom Sv. Ivana Krstitelja skrećete desno. Ubrzo dolazite na raskrižje 9 s glavnom cestom i nastavljate desno prema G. Konjščini. Vožnja je vrlo mirna, pogotovo interesantna u proljeće i jesen. Na raskrižju 10 (22,8 km od starta) držite lijevu stranu. U blizini raskrižja nalaze se ostaci kurije Valun. Vi nastavljate kroz naselje Kosovečko do raskrižja 11 (28,4 km od starta) gdje oprezno skrenite lijevo prema središtu Konjščine. Tu se možete odmoriti i okrijepiti, a svakako posjetite obnovljeni stari grad Konjščina. Na raskrižju 12 (29,3 km od starta) prvo skrenite desno, a zatim ponovno desno u smjeru naselja Poljanica Bistrička. Cesta u nastavku je također mirna i bez puno prometa, a odvest će vas do Marije Bistrice. Pred ulazak u naselje Poljanica Bistrička kreće uspon koji završava na raskrižju 13 (34,8 km od starta) na kojem držite lijevu stranu. U nastavku se vozite predivnom hrptenom cestom i lagano se počinjete spuštati prema Mariji Bistrici. Nakon 37,4 km od starta nalazite se u središtu 14 Marije Bistrice na trgu ispred Svetišta Majke Božje Bistričke. Ovo je odlično mjesto za odmor i okrjepu. Od trga nastavite ulicom kralja Tomislava do raskrižja 15 na kojem držite desnu stranu i nastavite Kolodvorskom ulicom u smjeru Zlatar Bistrice. Cesta u nastavku je nešto prometnija zato obratite pažnju na sigurnost. U Zlatar Bistrici, na raskrižju 16 (44 km od starta), oprezno nastavite ravno Zagorskom ulicom prema Zlataru. Prolazite kroz naselje Komuši u kojem je smještena kurija Rauver koja je u razrušenom stanju. Nakon 49 km od starta dolazite u središte Zlatara gdje završava biciklistička ruta. Hrašćinski meteorit / Hrašćina-meteorite Vožnju biciklom započnite u središtu Konjščine 1 gdje ima dovoljno parkirnih mjesta ukoliko dolazite automobilom. Iz središta Konjščine krenite na jugoistok preko pruge do Y raskrižja 2 (0,8 km od starta) i nastavite lijevo. Ubrzo dolazite na raskrižje 3 (2 km od starta) pored tvorničkog dvorišta. Na raskrižju skrenite desno za Pešćeno i nastavite uskom pitoresknom asfaltnom cestom. Ruta se zatim lagano uspinje i spušta, ali to je jedini način da upoznate zagorske brege. Nakon 6,7 km od starta, u naselju Vrbovo, na Y raskrižju 4 skrenite lijevo i nastavite se lagano uspinjati do središta naselja gdje je smještena kapela i raspelo. U nastavku ruta ide cestom skoro bez prometa i vožnja je ugodna, pogotovo u jesen i proljeće kada okolne šume i polja budu u punom sjaju. Nakon 10,8 km od starta dolazite do raskrižja na kojem nastavljate ravno, ali svakako skrenite desno da posjetite lokalitet pada hrašćinskog meteorita koji se na Zemlju spustio 1751. godine. Ruta u nastavku dolazi u središte 5 (11,5 km od starta) naselja Trgovišće u kojem se možete odmoriti i okrijepiti, jer u nastavku slijedi kratki, ali vrlo strmi uspon. Nakon odmora na raskrižju 5 prvo skrenite desno pored crkve, a zatim prva cesta lijevo strmo uzbrdo i pratite oznake za Vinski vrh. Uspon je strm i kratak, ali nagrada na kraju je nemjerljiva, jer nakon 600 m vožnje izlazite na hrbat brijega s kojeg se pruža predivan pogled na okolicu. Ruta dalje vodi pored vinarije Vinski vrh i na 13. km od starta počinje dobar makadamski put. Dalje se vozite hrptenim putem do naselja Hunjeki gdje na T raskrižju 6 (15 km od starta) skrenite lijevo i započnite s laganom vožnjom nizbrdo. Uživajte u predivnim pogledima na okolicu i zaustavite se pored kapelice Sv. Benedikta u naselju Kuzmani. Odmah pored kapele na T raskrižju 7 (17,5 km od starta) skrenite desno i oprezno se vozite nizbrdo do raskrižja 8 na kojem skrenite desno do sljedećeg raskrižja 9 (18,6 km od starta) na kojem oprezno nastavite ravno prometnijom glavnom cestom. Vožnja glavnom cestom (po potrebi može i nogostupom) kratko traje do raskrižja 10 gdje oprezno skrenite lijevo i preko pruge nastavite prema naselju Krapinica. U naselju Gotalovec pored zadružnog doma i poklonca na raskrižju 11 (22,7 km od starta) skrenite lijevo i nastavite prema naselju Zajezda. U nastavku se vozite južni dijelom Ivanščice, a na raskrižju 12 (23,9 km od starta) skrenite desno. Budite oprezni jer je raskrižje lako promašiti. U nastavku se vozite kratkim makadamskim dijelom i na raskrižju 13 (24,9 km od starta) pored kućnog broja 140 skrenite lijevo. Ruta se polako okreće i nastavlja prema jugu, prolazite pored rudarskih kola, spomenik ugljenokopu Zajezda. Mirna i pitoreskna asfaltna cesta vodi vas do naselja Budinšćina gdje na kružnom toku 14 nastavite lijevo do raskrižja 9, a na raskrižju 8 nastavite ravno. Ruta dalje vodi uskom asfaltnom cestom skoro bez prometa i na raskrižju 15 (33,8 km od starta) nastavite ravno. Vozite se dalje kroz naselja Maretić i Jertovec, a u naselju Pešćeno zastanite kratko pored kurije Pešćeno. U nastavku, nedaleko od kurije, ponovno dolazite na dio rute kojim ste došli, a koja će vas vratiti u središte Konjščine gdje završava ova biciklistička ruta nakon 42 km. Uspon na Ivanščicu 5 Naselja uz rutu: Martinšćina, Ivanščica, Gornja Selnica, Belec, Gornja Batina - Martinšćina / Dužina rute: 27 km / Vrijeme vožnje: 3-4 sata / Ukupni uspon: 930 m / Težina rute: 5/5 / Najniža točka na ruti: 260 m / Najviša točka na ruti: 1060 m / Početak i završetak rute: Martinšćina / Informacije o ruti: kružna biciklistička, isključivo za brdski bicikl. Ruta će vas provesti ljepotama južne Ivanščice i okolice. Ruta je vrlo teška i na određenim dijelovima možete očekivati blato nakon kiše. Preporučamo da oni s manje vještine u vožnji MTB bicikla, za povratak s Ivanščice odaberu isti put kojim su došli. Ruta nije označena signalizacijom za bicikliste, a dobrim dijelom možete pratiti planinarske oznake, a GPS track log je dostupan online. Biciklistička ruta provest će vas južnim padinama Ivanščice i pitoresknim brežuljcima kroz naselja Belec i G. Batina. Ruta je vrlo teška i moguće ju je izvesti samo dobrim brdskim biciklom. Spust s Ivanščice je posebno težak zbog zahtjevnog terena. Zato svima preporučamo da za povratak s Ivanščice odaberu isti put kojim su došli na vrh. Ruta započinje u naselju Martinšćina pored crkve Sv. Martina 1. Započnite ulicom ravno prema sjeveru i odmah možete očekivati uspon, jer Ivanščica nije lagana za voziti. Nakon 1,1 km od starta završava asfalt i počinje šumski put koji vodi na vrh Ivanščice. Cijelo vrijeme se uspinjete do Y raskrižja 2 na kojem skrenite lijevo. U nastavku se ruta izravnava, a počinje se i spuštati. Ovo je prilika za odmor, jer slijede novi usponi. Nakon 6,3 km od starta dolazite do planinarske kuće Majer. Ovo je odlično mjesto za odmor i uživanje u pogledu na okolicu. Odmah nakon planinarske kuće Majer dolazite na raskrižje 3 na kojem držite desnu stranu i pratite oznake za vrh Ivanščice. Odavde ponovno počinje uspon. Cijelo vrijeme vozite se kroz šumu, putem koji je odličan. Nakon 8,9 km od starta dolazite na Y raskrižje 4 na kojem držite desnu stranu i nastavite uzbrdo. Svakim prijeđenim metrom uspinjete se i vrh je sve bliži. Na T raskrižju (10,3 km od starta) 5 skrenite desno i pratite glavni makadam i ubrzo dolazite do Y raskrižja 6 na kojem držite lijevu stranu. Desno se odvaja asfaltni put. I konačno nakon 12,5 km od starta nalazite se na vrhu Ivanščice. Ne treba ni reći da je ovo idealno mjesto za odmor. U planinarskom domu Pasarićeva kuća možete ručati. Na obližnju piramidu možete se popeti i uživati u prelijepom pogledu na okolicu. S vrha nema drugog načina nego nizbrdo. Preporučamo da se istim putem vratite natrag, ali ako se osjećate sposobnim i vještim možete nastaviti rutu. Cijelim spustom s Ivanščice trebate biti oprezni. Na Y raskrižju 7 oprezno skrenite lijevo. Put je vrlo strm i nakošen. Nakon kiše vrlo je sklizak. Na Y raskrižju 8 (14 km od starta) skrenite desno i pratite oznake za naselje Belec. Lijevo se odvaja put za The cycling route begins in the centre of Lobor 1. Continue towards North in direction Stari Golubovec. The route goes over the asphalt road with less traffic along the stream Reka. You will pass by the football field and arrive to the Y intersection (3,8 km from start) where a water supply facility is situated. At the intersection keep left. To the right a path towards Stari grad (Old town) Lobor branches off. In the village Stari Golubovec ascent ends and descent, where you can rest, begins; be sure to use the rest, because another steeper ascent begins. The road that follows is still very nice to ride and is almost without traffic. At the Y intersection 2 (7,6 km from start) carefully turn right onto the main road and continue on the slight ascent to the village Gora Veternička. At the intersection 3 (9,2 km from start) turn left. The ride continues over the very steep ascent, where some of you will need to push the bike. Luckily, the hardest part is not very long, and the road is covered with asphalt. At the end of the ascent a beautiful view of the surroundings opens up and at the next intersection 4 (11 km from start) you will pass by the chapel of Ranjeni Isus (Chapel of the Wounded Jesus) and continue to the left. The ride continues over the steeper descent and you will pass by Chapter of Čazma and Varaždin. Soon you will descent into the valley and at the T intersection 5 (13,8 km from start) carefully turn left onto the main road and continue towards Mihovljani. In Mihovljani you can relax and refresh. As you continue you will go through a small pass and decrepit old buildings of the bathing resort in the village Sutinske Toplice. A bit further, on the left side, a pool complex is situated, where you can take a swim during summer. At the Y intersection 6 (20,2 km from start) continue straight towards village Mače. The valley slowly opens up and the view becomes wider. At the T intersection 7 (22,3 km from start) carefully turn right towards Zlatar and Zlatar Bistrica, and soon you will enter Mače. If you haven’t rested yet, you can relax and refresh in Mače 8. The route continues to the Y intersection 9 (23,5 km from start) with crucifix, turn left. The route turns slightly towards North and at the intersection 10 you will pass by the gas station and continue towards the village Lobor. At 27,6 km from start, on your right side, you will pass by the castle Loborgrad. After 31 km the cycling route ends in Lobor. At the intersection 12 (29,3 km from start) first turn right, and then again right towards the village Poljanica Bistrička. The next part of the road is also quiet, without a lot of traffic, and will lead you to Marija Bistrica. Just before the entrance of the village Poljanica Bistrička the ascent begins and ends at the intersection 13 (34,8 km from start) where you keep left. Continue to ride on the wonderful ridge road and slowly start descending towards Marija Bistrica. After 37,4 km from start you are now in the centre 14 of Marija Bistrica, on the square in front of the Shrine of Marija Božja Bistrička. This is a great place for rest and refreshment. Continue from the square along Kralj Tomislav Street to the intersection 15, keep right and continue along Kolodvorska Street towards Zlatar Bistrica. The road from here is a bit busier, so pay attention to your safety. At Zlatar Bistrica, at the intersection 16 (44 km from start), carefully continue straight along Zagorska Street towards Zlatar. You will pass through the village Komiši, where curia Rauver, in demolished state, is situated. After 49 km from start you will enter the centre of Zlatar, where the cycling route ends. Through the hills, valleys and viewpoints of north-eastern Zagorje 4 Places along the route: Konjščina, Pešćeno, Trgovišće , Donji Kraljevec, Gotalovec, Zajezda, Maretić - Konjščina / Route length: 42 km / Cycling time: 3 hours / Total ascent: 480 m / Route difficulty: 3/5 / Lowest point of the route: 150 m / Highest point of the route: 400 m / Beginning and ending of the route: Konjščina / Information about the route: Circular cycling route which will take you through the surroundings of Konjščina, eastern Zagorje and wine growing hills. The route is not marked with cycling signalisation, but the GPS track log is available online. Start the ride in the centre of Konjščina 1. There are enough parking spaces available, if you will be arriving by car. From the centre of Konjščina start towards South-East over the railway lines to the Y intersection 2 (0,8 km from start) and continue to the left. Soon you will come to the intersection 3 (2 km from start) next to the factory yard. At the intersection turn right towards Pešćeno and continue on the narrow picturesque asphalt road. From here the route goes a bit up-and-down, but that is the only way to get to know Zagorje hills. After 6,7 km from start, in the village Vrbovo, at the Y intersection 4, turn left and continue uphill to the centre of the village, where chapel and crucifix are situated. From here the road is almost without traffic and the ride is very pleasant, especially during fall and spring, when the surrounding forests and fields show their full colours. After 10,8 km from start you will come to the intersection, where you continue straight, but be sure also to turn right, and visit the site of the fall of Hrašćina-meteorite, that landed on Earth in year 1751. The route continues to the centre 5 (11,5 km from start) of the village Trgovišće, where you can rest and refresh, because from here a short, but very steep ascent, begins. After the break, at the intersection 5 first turn right next to the church, and then onto the first road to left, steeply uphill, and follow the signs for Vinski vrh. The ascent is steep and short, but the reword at the end is not measurable, because after 600 m of ride you will enter Ascent on Ivanščica 5 Places along the route: Martinšćina, Ivanščica, Gornja Selnica, Belec, Gornja Batina - Martinšćina / Route length: 27 km / Cycling time: 3-4 hours / Total ascent: 930 m / Route difficulty: 5/5 / Lowest point of the route: 260 m / Highest point of the route: 1060 m / Beginning and ending of the route: Martinšćina / Information about the route: Circular cycling route, only for mountain bikes. The route will lead you through the beauties of southern Ivanščica and its surroundings. The route is very difficult and on some parts you can expect mud after rain. We recommend that those with fewer skills in riding a mountain bike use the same road they came from to return from Ivanščica. The route is not marked with cycling signalisation, on most parts of the route you can follow the hiking marks, and GPS track log is available online. The cycling route will take you over the southern slopes of Ivanščica and picturesque hills through the villages Belec and Gornja Batina. The route is very difficult and only good mountain bikes should be used. Descent from Ivanščica is especially difficult because of the demanding terrain. That is why we recommend everybody to use the same road they came from to return from the top. The route begins in the village Martinšćina, next to the church of St. Martin 1. Start on the road straight towards North and you can expect the ascent at very beginning, because it is not easy to ride on Ivanščica. After 1,1 km from start the asphalt road ends and the forest road, that leads to the top of Ivanščica, begins. Ascent continually to the Y intersection 2 and turn left. The route gets a bit flatter, and it starts to descent. This is an opportunity to rest, because new ascents will follow. After 6,3 km from start you will come to the mountain lodge Majer. This is a great place to rest and enjoy the views of surroundings. Immediately after the mountain lodge Majer you will come to the intersection 3, where you keep right and follow the signs to the top of Ivanščica. Here another ascent begins. The whole time you are riding through the forest, on the very good road. After 8,9 km from start you will come to the intersection 4, where you keep right and continue uphill. With each meter you master, you are getting closer to the top. At the T intersection 5 turn right and follow the main macadam, and soon you will get to the Y intersection 6, where you keep left. On the right the asphalt road branches off. And finally, after 12,5 km from start, you are on top of Ivanščica. It’s needless to say, that this is an ideal place to rest. In the mountain lodge Pasarićeva kuća you can have lunch. You can climb onto the nearby pyramid and enjoy the beautiful view of the surroundings. There is no other way from top than downhill. We recommend that you use the same way you came from to come down from Ivanščica, but if you feel capable, you can continue on the route. During the whole way on your way down from Ivanščica you need to be careful. At the Y intersection 7 carefully turn left. The path is very steep and inclined. After the rain also very slippery. At the Y intersection 8 (14 km from start) turn right and follow the signs to Belec. On the left the road to Ivanec branches off. After 14,6 km from start the ride becomes easier and turns into the macadam road. At the Y intersection 9 (14,8 km from start) turn left. Intersection can be easily missed, so be careful. Follow the main macadam road and at 17,3 km from start you will exit the forest and a beautiful view will open up. In the village Gornja Selnica the macadam road ends and the asphalt road begins. Soon you will come to the T intersection 10 (19 km from start), turn right. Careful, the intersection can be easily missed. After 20,2 km from start 11 carefully turn right and continue through Belec to the Y intersection 12 (24 km from start), where you keep right. The route ends next to the church of St. Martin in Martinšćina after 27 km. At the beginning or at the end of the ride be sure to visit the complex of the castle Vranyczany. The route leads across the highway to the intersection 2, where you turn left towards Vojnić-Breg, Kozjak and Sekirišće. At this intersection, when riding back, the route is coming from the south. Continue riding through the narrow valley on the road with almost no traffic. At the intersection 3 (3,6 km from start) with the chapel turn left and continue through the settlement Sekirišće, and then first uphill and then downhill to the intersection 4 in the settlement Martinec Orehovički. At the intersection turn left and continue on the macadam road slightly uphill. In the settlement Županići, at the T intersection 5 (7,8 km from start) with a small chapel, turn right and continue uphill. The ascent ends soon and the descent begins. Soon you will come to the intersection 6 (9,3 km from start) where you turn left and continue uphill. From here a series of ascents start which will eventually reward you with a beautiful view of the south Zagorje. Hang in there! At the intersection 7 (10,3 km from start) the ascent ends and you continue left on the ridge road that offers beautiful views of the countryside. Enjoy your well deserved rest, because there are more ascents to go. In the settlement Meštrovići the ascent begins again, but luckily the space is open and you can enjoy the views. In the settlement Perići, at the intersection 8 (12,1 km from start), continue to the right. Soon the macadam path begins and flattens. You are now passing the highest part of the route and do not rush but enjoy nature and views of the countryside. After 13,6 km from start the steep descent begins, please ride this part carefully.     Soon you will reach the intersection 19 (42,2 km from start) where you turn left on the macadam path. The intersection can be easily “missed”, so be careful. The cycling route is slowly coming to the end, and at the intersection 20, next to the restaurant Stara škola (Old school) turn carefully right (near the castle Mirkovec) and continue riding towards the intersection 2 and your destination Sv. Križ Začretje.

    Ubrzo stižete do raskrižja 6 (9,3 km od starta) na kojem skrenite lijevo i nastavite se uspinjati. Odavde kreće niz uspona koji će vas na kraju nagraditi predivnim pogledom na južno Zagorje. Samo izdržite. Na raskrižju 7 (10,3 km od starta) uspon završava te nastavljate lijevo grebenskom cestom s koje se pruža predivan pogled na krajolik. Uživajte u zasluženom odmoru jer vas čeka još uspinjanja. U naselju Meštrovići uspinjanje ponovno započinje, ali prostor je, srećom, otvoren i možete uživati u pogledu. U naselju Perići, na raskrižju 8 (12,1 km od starta) nastavite desno. Uskoro kreće makadamski put koji se izravnava. Sada prolazite najvišim dijelom rute. Nemojte se žuriti, već uživajte u prirodi i pogledu na krajolik. Nakon 13,6 km od starta kreće strm spust kojim se oprezno vozite.

    Ubrzo stižete do raskrižja 9 (15 km od starta) s raspelom na kojemu skrenite lijevo. Spust ubrzo završava. Na sljedećem raskrižju oprezno skrenite desno i nastavite vožnju dolinom u smjeru naselja Mače. Na raskrižju 10 (17,9 km od starta) oprezno skrenite desno u smjeru Zlatar Bistrice i Zlatara. Ubrzo stižete u središte naselja Mače gdje se možete odmoriti i okrijepiti. Na raskrižju 11 skrenite desno. Ruta u nastavku prolazi pitoresknim krajolikom i slabo prometnom cestom, a na ulasku u Poznanovec prolazite pored kurije Poznanovec.

    Na raskrižju 12 (24,2 km od starta) dolazite na križanje s glavnom prometnom cestom. Na raskrižju skrenite desno i oprezno nastavite vožnju. Po potrebi vožnju možete nastaviti i nogostupom. U središtu Poznanovca na raskrižju 13 (25 km od starta) oprezno skrenite lijevo i nastavite manje prometnom cestom u smjeru juga.     Ivanec. Nakon 14,6 km od starta put postaje lakši za vožnju i prelazi u makadamski put. Na Y raskrižju 9 (14,8 km od starta) skrenite lijevo. Budite oprezni jer je križanje lako promašiti.

    Pratite glavni makadamski put i na 17,3 km od starta izlazite iz šume i otvara se predivan pogled. U naselju Gornja Selnica završava makadam i nastavlja asfaltni put. Ubrzo dolazite na T raskrižje 10 (19 km od starta) i skrenite desno. Oprez, raskrižje je lako promašiti. Nakon 20,2 km od starta 11 oprezno skrenite desno i nastavite kroz Belec do Y raskrižja 12 (24 km od starta) na kojem držite desnu stranu. Ruta završava pored crkve Sv.     Dvadeset i jedna biciklistička ruta Krapinsko-zagorske županije raspoređena je i cjelovito prikazana na prve četiri biciklističke karte (Zagorje biciklistička karta 1-4).

    Četiri državne biciklističke rute (Zagorska, Toplička, Sutla i Trakošćan) te velika županijska ruta prikazane su na kartama 1-4 informativno. Zbog duljina novih ruta te prostora koji obuhvaćaju, bilo je moguće prikazati samo njihove segmente.     Biciklistička ruta započinje u središtu Lobora 1. Nastavljate prema sjeveru u smjeru Starog Golubovca. Ruta prolazi malo prometnom asfaltnom cestom uz potok Reka. Prolazite nogometno igralište i dolazite do Y raskrižja (3,8 km od starta) na kojem se nalazi vodoopskrbni objekt. Na raskrižju držite lijevu stranu. Desno se odvaja put za Stari grad Lobor. U naselju Stari Golubovec završava uspinjanje i počinje spuštanje na kojem se možete odmoriti, jer slijedi još jedan malo teži uspon. Cesta u nastavku je i dalje jako lijepa za vožnju i praktički bez prometa.

    Na Y raskrižju 2 (7,6 km od starta) oprezno skrenite desno na glavnu cestu i nastavite s laganim uspinjanjem do naselja Gora Veternička. Na raskrižju 3 (9,2 km od starta) skrenite lijevo. U nastavku kreće vrlo strmi uspon na kojem će poneki morati i kratko gurati. Srećom, najteži dio nije dugačak, a cesta je asfaltna. Na završetku uspona otvara se predivan pogled na okolicu i na sljedećem raskrižju 4 (11 km od starta) prolazimo kapelu Ranjenog Isusa i nastavljamo lijevom stranom. U nastavku je nešto strmiji spust i prolazimo pored Zbornog kaptola čazmansko-varaždinski. Ubrzo se spuštamo u dolinu i na T raskrižju 5 (13,8 km od starta) oprezno skrećemo lijevo na glavnu cestu i nastavljamo u smjeru Mihovljana. U Mihovljanu se možete odmoriti i okrijepiti.

    U nastavku prolazite kroz mali klanac i oronule stare zgrade kupališta u naselju Sutinske Toplice. Nešto dalje s lijeve strane smješten je kompleks bazena u kojima se u ljeto možete i okupati. Na Y raskrižju 6 (20,2 km od starta) nastavite ravno u smjeru naselja Mače. Dolina se polako otvara i pogled postaje širi. Na T raskrižju 7 (22,3 km od starta) oprezno skrenite desno u smjeru Zlatara i Zlatar Bistrice i ubrzo ulazite u naselje Mače. Ako se niste prethodno odmorili, možete se odmoriti i okrijepiti u naselju Mače 8.

    Ruta dalje nastavlja do Y raskrižja 9 (23,5 km od starta) s raspelom na kojem skrenite lijevo. Ruta polako zakreće prema sjeveru i na raskrižju 10 prolazite pored benzinske pume i nastavljate prema naselju Lobor. Na 27,6 km od starta prolazite pored dvorca Loborgrad koji je s vaše desne strane. Nakon 31 km biciklistička ruta završava u Loboru.

    Biciklistička ruta prepuna vidikovaca i prelijepe prirode započinje u središtu naselja Sv. Križ Začretje 1. Na početku ili na kraju vožnje, svakako posjetite kompleks dvorca Vranyczany. Ruta vas dalje vodi nadvožnjakom preko autoceste do raskrižja 2 na kojem skrenite lijevo prema naseljima Vojnić-Breg, Kozjak i Sekirišće. Na ovo isto raskrižje ruta pri povratku dolazi s juga. Vozite se dalje uskom udolinom po slabo prometnoj cesti. Na raskrižju 3 (3,6 km od starta) s kapelom skrenite lijevo i nastavite kroz naselje Sekirišće, a zatim usponom pa spustom do raskrižja 4 u naselju Martinec Orehovički. Na raskrižju skrenite lijevo i dalje nastavite makadamskim putem lagano se uspinjući. U naselju Županići na T raskrižju 5 (7,8 km od starta) s pokloncem skrenite desno i nastavite uzbrdo. Uspon ubrzo završava i kreće spust.

    Street towards North and village Martinšćina. The road from here is quiet and you pass through the village Borkovec to the Y intersection 2 (2,3 km from start) with crucifix, where you turn left towards Martinšćina. Soon you will pass by the curia Jelačić and continue towards North with a view of Ivanščica. You will pass through the village Ratkovec and after slight ascent you will enter the village Martinšćina. In the centre of Martinšćina 3 (5,8 km from start) the church of St. Martin is situated and at the Y intersection keep right and continue uphill. On the left the road towards the top of Ivanščica branches off.

    After Martinšćina continue the ride on picturesque roads towards the village Belec. At Y intersection 4 (9 km from start) turn left and go through the village Gornja Batina where, at the intersection 5, after the bridge, keep left. Soon you will enter Belec and come to the church of St. Marija Snježna, where you can rest. Afterwards you can expect some up- and downhill rides, and then you will enter Završje Belečko, where at the intersection 6 (15 km from start) with shrine you follow the main road. Soon you will arrive to the Y intersection 7 (16,6 km from start), turn right onto the macadam road. Caution, the intersection can be easily missed.

    The route continues on the good macadam road. You will pass by the castle Rukavina and in the village Mezaki the macadam road ends. Continue to ride on the beautiful and quiet road through the valley and pass through the village Pomperovec, where at the intersection 8 (20 km from start) with the chapel of St. Ivan Krstitelj (St. John the Baptist) you turn right. Soon you will arrive to the intersection 9 with the main road and continue right towards Gornja Konjščina. The ride is very quiet and interesting, especially during spring and fall. At the intersection 10 (22,8 km from start) keep left. Near the intersection there are the remains of the curia Valun. You continue through the village Kosovečko to the intersection 11 (28,4 km from start), where you carefully turn left towards centre of Konjščina. Here you can rest and refresh, and be sure to visit the renovated old town Konjščina.

    the good macadam road begins. Ride along the ridge road towards village Hunjeki, where at the T intersection 6 (15 km from start) turn left and start the easy ride downhill. Enjoy the beautiful views of the surroundings and stop next to the chapel of St. Benedict in the village Kuzmani. Next to the chapel, at the T intersection 7 (17,5 km from start) turn right and carefully ride downhill to the intersection 8, where you turn right to the next intersection 9 (18,6 km from start), where you continue carefully straight, on the main road with more traffic. The ride on the main road (you can also use the sidewalk, for safety reasons) is short, and leads to the intersection 10 where you carefully turn left and over the railway lines, and continue towards village Krapinica.

    In the village Gotalovec, next to the social centre and a shrine, at the intersection 11 (22,7 km from start) turn left and continue towards village Zajezda. The route continues along south part of Ivanščica, and at the intersection 12 (23,9 km from start) turn right. Intersection can be easily missed, so be careful. The ride continues over the short macadam road and at the intersection 13 (24,9 km from start), next to the house number 140, turn left. The route slowly turns and continues towards South, you will pass by mining carriage, a monument to the coal mine Zajezda. Quiet and picturesque asphalt road will lead you to the village Budinšćina, where at the roundabout 14 continue left to the intersection 9, and at the intersection 8 continue straight.

    The route continues on the narrow asphalt road with almost no traffic, and at the intersection 15 (33,8 km from start) continue straight. Continue to ride through the villages Maretić and Jertovec, and in the village Pešćeno pause briefly next to the curia Pešćeno. Further down the road, not far away from the curia, you will come to the part of the road which you came from, and which will lead you back to the centre of Konjščina, where this 42 km long route ends.

    te ulazite u naselje Vučak, gdje na raskrižju 15 skrećete desno u smjeru Bedekovčine. Na raskrižju 16 (36 km od starta) oprezno skrenite lijevo te nastavite s opreznom vožnjom. Po potrebi se možete voziti i nogostupom. Prolazite pored obnovljene kurije Donja Bedekovčina. Na raskrižju 17 (38,2 km od starta) s raspelom skrećete desno. U nastavku se vozite uskom udolinom kroz naselja Mački, Šamci i Žitnjak do raskrižja 18 (41,2 km od starta), na kojemu se križaju makadamske ceste. Na raskrižju skrenite lijevo, a odmah potom desno te nastavite po asfaltu.

    Ubrzo stižete na raskrižje 19 (42,2 km od starta) na kojemu skrenite lijevo na makadamski put. Raskrižje je lako previdjeti. Biciklistička se ruta polako približava kraju. Na raskrižju 20, pored restorana Stara škola, oprezno skrenite desno (u blizini je dvorac Mirkovec). Vožnju nastavite u smjeru raskrižja 2 i vašeg cilja, naselja Sv. Križ Začretje.

    Dvorcima, kurijama i brežuljcima središnjeg Zagorja

    Naselja uz rutu: Zlatar, Martinšćina, Belec, Gornja Konjščina, Konjščina, Marija Bistrica, Zlatar Bistrica, Zlatar / Dužina rute: 49 km / Vrijeme vožnje: 5 sati / Ukupni uspon: 400 m / Težina rute: 4/5 / Najniža točka na ruti: 170 m / Najviša točka na ruti: 300 m / Početak i završetak rute: Zlatar / Informacije o ruti: kružna biciklistička ruta koja će vas provesti južnim padinama Ivanščice i dolinom rijeke Krapine, obići ćete značajna Zagorska naselja Zlatar, Konjščina i Marija Bistrica. Ruta u početku prolazi mirnim i pitoresknim, a pred kraj nešto prometnijim cestama. Ruta nije označena signalizacijom za bicikliste, ali je GPS track log dostupan online.

    Kapela Sv. Benedikta u Velikom Komoru / St. Benedict chapel in Veliki Komor

    Biciklistička ruta započinje u središtu 1 Zlatara odakle Varaždinskom ulicom nastavljate prema sjeveru i naselju Martinšćina. Put je u nastavku miran s malo prometa i prolazite kroz naselje Borkovec do Y raskrižja 2 (2,3 km od starta) s raspelom na kojem skrenite lijevo u smjeru Martinšćine. Ubrzo prolazite pored kurije Jelačić i nastavljate na sjever s pogledom na Ivanščicu. Prolazite kroz naselje Ratkovec i nakon vrlo lagane uzbrdice ulazite u naselje Martinšćina. U središtu Martinšćine 3 (5,8 km od starta) smještena je crkva Sv. Martina i na Y raskrižju držite desnu stranu i nastavljate uzbrdo. Lijevo se odvaja put prema vrhu Ivanščice.

    Nakon Martinšćine nastavljate pitoresknim cestama prema naselju Belec. Na Y raskrižju 4 (9 km od starta) skrećete lijevo i prolazite naselje G. Batina gdje na raskrižju 5 nakon mosta držite lijevu stranu. Ubrzo dolazite u Belec do crkve Sv. Marije Snježne gdje se možete i odmoriti. Župna crkva sv. Marije Snježne u Belcu jedan je od najljepših primjera barokne umjetnosti u sjevernoj Hrvatskoj. Ovu zavjetnu kapelu posvećenu Sv. Mariji, dala je izgraditi Elizabeta pl. Keglević-Erdody 1674. godine. U nastavku vas očekuje malo vožnje uzbrdo i nizbrdo, te ulazite u Završje Belečko gdje na raskrižju 6 (15 km od starta) s pokloncem pratite glavnu cestu. Ubrzo stižete to Y raskrižja 7 (16,6 km od starta) na kojem skrenite desno na makadamski put. Oprez, raskrižje je lako promašiti.

    Ruta dalje nastavlja dobrim makadamskim putem. Prolazite pored dvorca Rukavina i u naselju Mezaki završava makadamski put. U nastavku se vozite predivnom i mirnom cestom kroz dolinu i prolazite kroz naselje Pomperovec, gdje na raskrižju 8 (20 km od starta) s kapelom Sv. Ivana Krstitelja skrećete desno. Ubrzo dolazite na raskrižje 9 s glavnom cestom i nastavljate desno prema G. Konjščini. Vožnja je vrlo mirna, pogotovo interesantna u proljeće i jesen. Na raskrižju 10 (22,8 km od starta) držite lijevu stranu. U blizini raskrižja nalaze se ostaci kurije Valun. Vi nastavljate kroz naselje Kosovečko do raskrižja 11 (28,4 km od starta) gdje oprezno skrenite lijevo prema središtu Konjščine. Tu se možete odmoriti i okrijepiti, a svakako posjetite obnovljeni stari grad Konjščina.

    Na raskrižju 12 (29,3 km od starta) prvo skrenite desno, a zatim ponovno desno u smjeru naselja Poljanica Bistrička. Cesta u nastavku je također mirna i bez puno prometa, a odvest će vas do Marije Bistrice. Pred ulazak u naselje Poljanica Bistrička kreće uspon koji završava na raskrižju 13 (34,8 km od starta) na kojem držite lijevu stranu. U nastavku se vozite predivnom hrptenom cestom i lagano se počinjete spuštati prema Mariji Bistrici. Nakon 37,4 km od starta nalazite se u središtu 14 Marije Bistrice na trgu ispred Svetišta Majke Božje Bistričke. Ovo je odlično mjesto za odmor i okrjepu. Od trga nastavite ulicom kralja Tomislava do raskrižja 15 na kojem držite desnu stranu i nastavite Kolodvorskom ulicom u smjeru Zlatar Bistrice. Cesta u nastavku je nešto prometnija zato obratite pažnju na sigurnost.

    U Zlatar Bistrici, na raskrižju 16 (44 km od starta), oprezno nastavite ravno Zagorskom ulicom prema Zlataru. Prolazite kroz naselje Komuši u kojem je smještena kurija Rauver koja je u razrušenom stanju. Nakon 49 km od starta dolazite u središte Zlatara gdje završava biciklistička ruta.

    Hrašćinski meteorit / Hrašćina-meteorite

    Vožnju biciklom započnite u središtu Konjščine 1 gdje ima dovoljno parkirnih mjesta ukoliko dolazite automobilom. Iz središta Konjščine krenite na jugoistok preko pruge do Y raskrižja 2 (0,8 km od starta) i nastavite lijevo. Ubrzo dolazite na raskrižje 3 (2 km od starta) pored tvorničkog dvorišta. Na raskrižju skrenite desno za Pešćeno i nastavite uskom pitoresknom asfaltnom cestom. Ruta se zatim lagano uspinje i spušta, ali to je jedini način da upoznate zagorske brege. Nakon 6,7 km od starta, u naselju Vrbovo, na Y raskrižju 4 skrenite lijevo i nastavite se lagano uspinjati do središta naselja gdje je smještena kapela i raspelo.

    U nastavku ruta ide cestom skoro bez prometa i vožnja je ugodna, pogotovo u jesen i proljeće kada okolne šume i polja budu u punom sjaju. Nakon 10,8 km od starta dolazite do raskrižja na kojem nastavljate ravno, ali svakako skrenite desno da posjetite lokalitet pada hrašćinskog meteorita koji se na Zemlju spustio 1751. godine. Ruta u nastavku dolazi u središte 5 (11,5 km od starta) naselja Trgovišće u kojem se možete odmoriti i okrijepiti, jer u nastavku slijedi kratki, ali vrlo strmi uspon. Nakon odmora na raskrižju 5 prvo skrenite desno pored crkve, a zatim prva cesta lijevo strmo uzbrdo i pratite oznake za Vinski vrh. Uspon je strm i kratak, ali nagrada na kraju je nemjerljiva, jer nakon 600 m vožnje izlazite na hrbat brijega s kojeg se pruža predivan pogled na okolicu.

    Ruta dalje vodi pored vinarije Vinski vrh i na 13. km od starta počinje dobar makadamski put. Dalje se vozite hrptenim putem do naselja Hunjeki gdje na T raskrižju 6 (15 km od starta) skrenite lijevo i započnite s laganom vožnjom nizbrdo. Uživajte u predivnim pogledima na okolicu i zaustavite se pored kapelice Sv. Benedikta u naselju Kuzmani. Odmah pored kapele na T raskrižju 7 (17,5 km od starta) skrenite desno i oprezno se vozite nizbrdo do raskrižja 8 na kojem skrenite desno do sljedećeg raskrižja 9 (18,6 km od starta) na kojem oprezno nastavite ravno prometnijom glavnom cestom. Vožnja glavnom cestom (po potrebi može i nogostupom) kratko traje do raskrižja 10 gdje oprezno skrenite lijevo i preko pruge nastavite prema naselju Krapinica.

    U naselju Gotalovec pored zadružnog doma i poklonca na raskrižju 11 (22,7 km od starta) skrenite lijevo i nastavite prema naselju Zajezda. U nastavku se vozite južni dijelom Ivanščice, a na raskrižju 12 (23,9 km od starta) skrenite desno. Budite oprezni jer je raskrižje lako promašiti. U nastavku se vozite kratkim makadamskim dijelom i na raskrižju 13 (24,9 km od starta) pored kućnog broja 140 skrenite lijevo. Ruta se polako okreće i nastavlja prema jugu, prolazite pored rudarskih kola, spomenik ugljenokopu Zajezda. Mirna i pitoreskna asfaltna cesta vodi vas do naselja Budinšćina gdje na kružnom toku 14 nastavite lijevo do raskrižja 9, a na raskrižju 8 nastavite ravno.

    Ruta dalje vodi uskom asfaltnom cestom skoro bez prometa i na raskrižju 15 (33,8 km od starta) nastavite ravno. Vozite se dalje kroz naselja Maretić i Jertovec, a u naselju Pešćeno zastanite kratko pored kurije Pešćeno. U nastavku, nedaleko od kurije, ponovno dolazite na dio rute kojim ste došli, a koja će vas vratiti u središte Konjščine gdje završava ova biciklistička ruta nakon 42 km.

Ruta će vas provesti ljepotama južne Ivanščice i okolice. Ruta je vrlo teška i na određenim dijelovima možete očekivati blato nakon kiše. Preporučamo da oni s manje vještine u vožnji MTB bicikla, za povratak s Ivanščice odaberu isti put kojim su došli. Ruta nije označena signalizacijom za bicikliste, a dobrim dijelom možete pratiti planinarske oznake, a GPS track log je dostupan online.

    Biciklistička ruta provest će vas južnim padinama Ivanščice i pitoresknim brežuljcima kroz naselja Belec i G. Batina. Ruta je vrlo teška i moguće ju je izvesti samo dobrim brdskim biciklom. Spust s Ivanščice je posebno težak zbog zahtjevnog terena. Zato svima preporučamo da za povratak s Ivanščice odaberu isti put kojim su došli na vrh.

    Ruta započinje u naselju Martinšćina pored crkve Sv. Martina 1. Započnite ulicom ravno prema sjeveru i odmah možete očekivati uspon, jer Ivanščica nije lagana za voziti. Nakon 1,1 km od starta završava asfalt i počinje šumski put koji vodi na vrh Ivanščice. Cijelo vrijeme se uspinjete do Y raskrižja 2 na kojem skrenite lijevo. U nastavku se ruta izravnava, a počinje se i spuštati. Ovo je prilika za odmor, jer slijede novi usponi.

    Nakon 6,3 km od starta dolazite do planinarske kuće Majer. Ovo je odlično mjesto za odmor i uživanje u pogledu na okolicu. Odmah nakon planinarske kuće Majer dolazite na raskrižje 3 na kojem držite desnu stranu i pratite oznake za vrh Ivanščice. Odavde ponovno počinje uspon. Cijelo vrijeme vozite se kroz šumu, putem koji je odličan. Nakon 8,9 km od starta dolazite na Y raskrižje 4 na kojem držite desnu stranu i nastavite uzbrdo. Svakim prijeđenim metrom uspinjete se i vrh je sve bliži. Na T raskrižju (10,3 km od starta) 5 skrenite desno i pratite glavni makadam i ubrzo dolazite do Y raskrižja 6 na kojem držite lijevu stranu. Desno se odvaja asfaltni put.

    I konačno nakon 12,5 km od starta nalazite se na vrhu Ivanščice. Ne treba ni reći da je ovo idealno mjesto za odmor. U planinarskom domu Pasarićeva kuća možete ručati. Na obližnju piramidu možete se popeti i uživati u prelijepom pogledu na okolicu. S vrha nema drugog načina nego nizbrdo. Preporučamo da se istim putem vratite natrag, ali ako se osjećate sposobnim i vještim možete nastaviti rutu. Cijelim spustom s Ivanščice trebate biti oprezni. Na Y raskrižju 7 oprezno skrenite lijevo. Put je vrlo strm i nakošen. Nakon kiše vrlo je sklizak. Na Y raskrižju 8 (14 km od starta) skrenite desno i pratite oznake za naselje Belec. Lijevo se odvaja put za

    The cycling route begins in the centre of Lobor 1. Continue towards North in direction Stari Golubovec. The route goes over the asphalt road with less traffic along the stream Reka. You will pass by the football field and arrive to the Y intersection (3,8 km from start) where a water supply facility is situated. At the intersection keep left. To the right a path towards Stari grad (Old town) Lobor branches off. In the village Stari Golubovec ascent ends and descent, where you can rest, begins; be sure to use the rest, because another steeper ascent begins. The road that follows is still very nice to ride and is almost without traffic.

    At the Y intersection 2 (7,6 km from start) carefully turn right onto the main road and continue on the slight ascent to the village Gora Veternička. At the intersection 3 (9,2 km from start) turn left. The ride continues over the very steep ascent, where some of you will need to push the bike. Luckily, the hardest part is not very long, and the road is covered with asphalt. At the end of the ascent a beautiful view of the surroundings opens up and at the next intersection 4 (11 km from start) you will pass by the chapel of Ranjeni Isus (Chapel of the Wounded Jesus) and continue to the left. The ride continues over the steeper descent and you will pass by Chapter of Čazma and Varaždin. Soon you will descent into the valley and at the T intersection 5 (13,8 km from start) carefully turn left onto the main road and continue towards Mihovljani. In Mihovljani you can relax and refresh.

    As you continue you will go through a small pass and decrepit old buildings of the bathing resort in the village Sutinske Toplice. A bit further, on the left side, a pool complex is situated, where you can take a swim during summer. At the Y intersection 6 (20,2 km from start) continue straight towards village Mače. The valley slowly opens up and the view becomes wider. At the T intersection 7 (22,3 km from start) carefully turn right towards Zlatar and Zlatar Bistrica, and soon you will enter Mače. If you haven’t rested yet, you can relax and refresh in Mače 8.

    The route continues to the Y intersection 9 (23,5 km from start) with crucifix, turn left. The route turns slightly towards North and at the intersection 10 you will pass by the gas station and continue towards the village Lobor. At 27,6 km from start, on your right side, you will pass by the castle Loborgrad. After 31 km the cycling route ends in Lobor.

    At the intersection 12 (29,3 km from start) first turn right, and then again right towards the village Poljanica Bistrička. The next part of the road is also quiet, without a lot of traffic, and will lead you to Marija Bistrica. Just before the entrance of the village Poljanica Bistrička the ascent begins and ends at the intersection 13 (34,8 km from start) where you keep left. Continue to ride on the wonderful ridge road and slowly start descending towards Marija Bistrica. After 37,4 km from start you are now in the centre 14 of Marija Bistrica, on the square in front of the Shrine of Marija Božja Bistrička. This is a great place for rest and refreshment. Continue from the square along Kralj Tomislav Street to the intersection 15, keep right and continue along Kolodvorska Street towards Zlatar Bistrica. The road from here is a bit busier, so pay attention to your safety.

    At Zlatar Bistrica, at the intersection 16 (44 km from start), carefully continue straight along Zagorska Street towards Zlatar. You will pass through the village Komiši, where curia Rauver, in demolished state, is situated. After 49 km from start you will enter the centre of Zlatar, where the cycling route ends.

    Through the hills, valleys and viewpoints of north-eastern Zagorje 4Places along the route: Konjščina, Pešćeno, Trgovišće , Donji Kraljevec, Gotalovec, Zajezda, Maretić - Konjščina / Route length: 42 km / Cycling time: 3 hours / Total ascent: 480 m / Route difficulty: 3/5 / Lowest point of the route: 150 m / Highest point of the route: 400 m / Beginning and ending of the route: Konjščina / Information about the route: Circular cycling route which will take you through the surroundings of Konjščina, eastern Zagorje and wine growing hills. The route is not marked with cycling signalisation, but the GPS track log is available online.

    Start the ride in the centre of Konjščina 1. There are enough parking spaces available, if you will be arriving by car. From the centre of Konjščina start towards South-East over the railway lines to the Y intersection 2 (0,8 km from start) and continue to the left. Soon you will come to the intersection 3 (2 km from start) next to the factory yard. At the intersection turn right towards Pešćeno and continue on the narrow picturesque asphalt road. From here the route goes a bit up-and-down, but that is the only way to get to know Zagorje hills. After 6,7 km from start, in the village Vrbovo, at the Y intersection 4, turn left and continue uphill to the centre of the village, where chapel and crucifix are situated.

    From here the road is almost without traffic and the ride is very pleasant, especially during fall and spring, when the surrounding forests and fields show their full colours. After 10,8 km from start you will come to the intersection, where you continue straight, but be sure also to turn right, and visit the site of the fall of Hrašćina-meteorite, that landed on Earth in year 1751. The route continues to the centre 5 (11,5 km from start) of the village Trgovišće, where you can rest and refresh, because from here a short, but very steep ascent, begins. After the break, at the intersection 5 first turn right next to the church, and then onto the first road to left, steeply uphill, and follow the signs for Vinski vrh. The ascent is steep and short, but the reword at the end is not measurable, because after 600 m of ride you will enter

    Ascent on Ivanščica 5Places along the route: Martinšćina, Ivanščica, Gornja Selnica, Belec, Gornja Batina

    - Martinšćina / Route length: 27 km / Cycling time: 3-4 hours / Total ascent: 930 m / Route difficulty: 5/5 / Lowest point of the route: 260 m / Highest point of the route: 1060 m / Beginning and ending of the route: Martinšćina / Information about the route: Circular cycling route, only for mountain bikes. The route will lead you through the beauties of southern Ivanščica and its surroundings. The route is very difficult and on some parts you can expect mud after rain. We recommend that those with fewer skills in riding a mountain bike use the same road they came from to return from Ivanščica. The route is not marked with cycling signalisation, on most parts of the route you can follow the hiking marks, and GPS track log is available online.

    The cycling route will take you over the southern slopes of Ivanščica and picturesque hills through the villages Belec and Gornja Batina. The route is very difficult and only good mountain bikes should be used. Descent from Ivanščica is especially difficult because of the demanding terrain. That is why we recommend everybody to use the same road they came from to return from the top.

    The route begins in the village Martinšćina, next to the church of St. Martin 1. Start on the road straight towards North and you can expect the ascent at very beginning, because it is not easy to ride on Ivanščica. After 1,1 km from start the asphalt road ends and the forest road, that leads to the top of Ivanščica, begins. Ascent continually to the Y intersection 2 and turn left. The route gets a bit flatter, and it starts to descent. This is an opportunity to rest, because new ascents will follow.

    After 6,3 km from start you will come to the mountain lodge Majer. This is a great place to rest and enjoy the views of surroundings. Immediately after the mountain lodge Majer you will come to the intersection 3, where you keep right and follow the signs to the top of Ivanščica. Here another ascent begins. The whole time you are riding through the forest, on the very good road. After 8,9 km from start you will come to the intersection 4, where you keep right and continue uphill. With each meter you master, you are getting closer to the top. At the T intersection 5 turn right and follow the main macadam, and soon you will get to the Y intersection 6, where you keep left. On the right the asphalt road branches off.

    And finally, after 12,5 km from start, you are on top of Ivanščica. It’s needless to say, that this is an ideal place to rest. In the mountain lodge Pasarićeva kuća you can have lunch. You can climb onto the nearby pyramid and enjoy the beautiful view of the surroundings. There is no other way from top than downhill. We recommend that you use the same way you came from to come down from Ivanščica, but if you feel capable, you can continue on the route. During the whole way on your way down from Ivanščica you need to be careful. At the Y intersection 7 carefully turn left. The path is very steep and inclined. After the rain also very slippery. At the Y intersection 8 (14 km from start) turn right and follow the signs to Belec. On the left the road to Ivanec branches off. After 14,6 km from start the ride becomes easier and turns into the macadam road. At the Y intersection 9 (14,8 km from start) turn left. Intersection can be easily missed, so be careful.

    Follow the main macadam road and at 17,3 km from start you will exit the forest and a beautiful view will open up. In the village Gornja Selnica the macadam road ends and the asphalt road begins. Soon you will come to the T intersection 10 (19 km from start), turn right. Careful, the intersection can be easily missed. After 20,2 km from start 11 carefully turn right and continue through Belec to the Y intersection 12 (24 km from start), where you keep right. The route ends next to the church of St. Martin in Martinšćina after 27 km.

    The cycling route full of viewpoints and wonderful nature begins in centre of Sv. Križ Začretje 1. At the beginning or at the end of the ride be sure to visit the complex of the castle Vranyczany. The route leads across the highway to the intersection 2, where you turn left towards Vojnić-Breg, Kozjak and Sekirišće. At this intersection, when riding back, the route is coming from the south. Continue riding through the narrow valley on the road with almost no traffic. At the intersection 3 (3,6 km from start) with the chapel turn left and continue through the settlement Sekirišće, and then first uphill and then downhill to the intersection 4 in the settlement Martinec Orehovički. At the intersection turn left and continue on the macadam road slightly uphill. In the settlement Županići, at the T intersection 5 (7,8 km from start) with a small chapel, turn right and continue uphill. The ascent ends soon and the descent begins.

    Soon you will come to the intersection 6 (9,3 km from start) where you turn left and continue uphill. From here a series of ascents start which will eventually reward you with a beautiful view of the south Zagorje. Hang in there! At the intersection 7 (10,3 km from start) the ascent ends and you continue left on the ridge road that offers beautiful views of the countryside. Enjoy your well deserved rest, because there are more ascents to go. In the settlement Meštrovići the ascent begins again, but luckily the space is open and you can enjoy the views. In the settlement Perići, at the intersection 8 (12,1 km from start), continue to the right. Soon the macadam path begins and flattens. You are now passing the highest part of the route and do not rush but enjoy nature and views of the countryside. After 13,6 km from start the steep descent begins, please ride this part carefully.

    Soon you will reach the intersection 9 (15 km from start) with the crucifix where you turn left and the descent soon ends, and at the next intersection carefully turn
