The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) hosted a one day work shop in Boston on March 2, 2010. Thirty junior leaders from over 25 premier health institutions in the country participated in this workshop. During this talk they drew a 30,000 foot view thumbnail picture of the various professional scoieties who have an influence on the growth and development of the field of pall care. They talked at length about the central role and enduring commitment of AAHPM in supporting junior clinicians in Palliative Care across all venues.
