HOWTO DIY BUS-BAR OF SMART SWITCHABLE PRIVACYGLASS FILM

1.Cover a thin paper to the installed windows, and draw the perimeter of the glass on the windowsonto the paper.2.Cut the paper according to the drawing, now you get the same shape of the paper as the glass onthe windows.3.Put the paper on the switchable smart glass film. And cut the right smart glass film according tothe paper. Now you get the smart film whose the size is the same as the the glass on the installedwindows.

4.Open the edge of the right smart glass film by a cure knife about along half of the smart film,depth of the cut should be about 1 cm. It's to peel off the PET Film of the smart glass film about 1CM.

5.Do the same thing to the other side of the smart glass film.

6.Clean the exposed edge with ethanol (consistency about 70%-90%).

7.Use adhesive tape to cover the exposed edge to protect it before applying the conductive gel.

8.Apply the conductive gel on the exposed ITO layer.








9.At the same time, apply the conductive gel on the connecting tag too.

10.Apply the copper stripe on the conductive gel on the exposed ITO layer. And do the same thing tothe other side.

11.Soldering the connecting tap onto the copper stripe and wires. So does the other side.








12.Connecting the smart glass to power device to check if the connecting is good. If connecting isgood, now, congratulations, you are doing a great job.

13.Apply the film to the windows.
