BuddhismBuddhism BUDDHISM appeared in 6th century B.C. It’s

founder was SIDDHARTHA GAUTAMA, known as the Buddha (“Enlightened One”)

He lived a privileged, sheltered life among great wealth. He noticed the suffering of the world and gave up his riches.

denial. He did not find enlightenment by abusing his body but later found it by long periods of meditation.
