How will this research

affect my film.

One way that the research could affect my film is by showing different camera angles which I could use in my film. by me looking at the different camera angles used in popular films I can see the type of angles that work best in a thriller film. I can also see what kind of techniques big companies look for in the films they produce.

Another way that the research I have just done could affect my film is by helping me see what is involved in the genre of thriller like the type of costume and props, the type of characters and their personality, the type of lighting used, the colours used and the type of sound (diegetic and non diegetic).

One more way that this research will affect my film is after filming it, when I’m going back through it I can see what kind of things need altering and changing. The research shows me what kind of content went through and got produced. It can help me see what things are of lower quality than the rest of the film which I can then change to be on the same level.

This research gives me different ideas I could use for my opening I could then take these scenes as inspiration or merge together ones I think work within my film. Like for example during the opening credits for cape town I really like the ripple effect with an image behind it so I am taking this as inspiration for my own film opening.
