Developing Energy cooperatives in Croatia

• Organized 20 seminars across Croatia, developed web site, Manual on setting up energy coops;

• International conference „100% renewable energy on islands” in cooperation with REScoop project;

• As a result in 2013, ten energy coops started in Croatia

• All energy coops are in early stage, and new financing and new business models needed;

• Focus of cooperatives: biomass, PV, electro mobility, biogas, wind, energy efficiency in buildings…

Terna Energy SA -Project Developer

• Dervenochoria wind farm cluster: 4 WFs in operation (19.5 MW) and 3 WFs under development (10 MW).

• Location: Viotia prefecture, Greece.

Acciona – Project Developer

• Poniec, 2 WFs composed of 10 turbines of 3 MW each (30MW).

• Location: Gostyn, Poland

50 Hertz - TSO

• Ex-post evaluation to investigate what measures suggested by the “WE ENGAGE” tool would have been appropriate for usage.
