Firstly, open your image and then

click on filter>render>light effects.

Then click on lighting effects to

adjust the lighting of your image.

On the right, the image is the

control screen for light effects. Here

is the Omni light effect on the Eifel

tower. The circle around the

preview image is the control

mechanism for the intensity and

location of the light effect.

Here is the parallel direction lighting

effect, as you can see there are two

option tools currently on the

preview image. With the directional

lighting effect you increase the

intensity of the light on the subject.

This image is demonstrating the

spotlight light effect on the

filter>render options. As you can see

the circular mechanism allows the

user to adjust the direction of the

spotlight and the intensity of said

light.

To delete a light on the preview and

control section of the light effects

menu, drag the centre circle of the

control mechanism on the image to

the bin icon located at the bottom

right of the preview image.
