How to Win at Monopoly (Definitely Maybe)
So, have you found yourself in the unfortunate position of another friendship-breaking game of Monopoly? Though part of this game relies on the luck of the dice
roll, there is an almost surefire way to guarantee you come out on top (almost)
every time. Here’s how to do it in a few east steps!
List of Supplies
A Monopoly Board Game (all pieces included)
One or more friends willing to play (also preferably ones who won’t want to punch you after you take all of their game money)
Background Music (Silence will only heighten tensions)
Lots of Beverages and Snacks (You will probably be there for a while)
An optimistic and willing attitude A Basic Calculator

Step 1~
Collect Every Property you land on
Especially the first few times around the board!Even if you don’t get a monopoly with each property color, you’re
stopping someone else from getting it, too!

Step 2~
Don’t Scoff at Smaller Properties
Once you build up enough money, you can build up properties on the cheaper places to start gaining big bucks! This includes the Rail
Roads and Utilities.

Step 3~
Stick it out in JailThe rules of the game state a person in Jail can still collect when someone lands on their property. So instead of paying to get out, take the chance of rolling doubles for a few times first. You might
just get lucky, and even if you don’t, you’re still making money for sitting around!

Step 4~
Pay the 10%!If the math works out, being lazy won’t pay off. When you land on
“Income Tax,” you’re presented the option of paying $200 or 10% of your total money. Doing a little bit of math might help you go the
extra round when you really need it.

Step 5~
Make Deals! But don’t be a jerk about it.
This game might tear up friendships, but it doesn’t have to. If you stay true to your word and don’t try to be underhanded, your
friends might concede to your likeable nature before their money runs out. The better you deal, the more they’ll be willing to deal
with you.
