WhatsApp is a free app you can download on your mobile to communicate with people via message or video chat. This guide will show you how to download WhatsApp and use it.

You will need to open the Play Store on your Android phone to open and download Whatsapp.

Using the search box, type in Whatsapp. Once that comes up, you will then need to click on it to download the app.

From there, you will need to download Whatsapp and click install.

Open Whatsapp and follow the instructions. Make sure to click on Agree and continue.

Enter your number. Remove the ‘0” e.g., 07943 to 7943 and click Next.

When you see the next screen, click OK.

Click Allow - this will show any contacts in your mobile that have Whatsapp on their mobiles.

To make a video call, click on the Video icon.

Once installed, you should be able to see your contacts list and open a chat window, which will look like this:
