HOW TO SHARPEN TRAMONTINA

KNIVES!This is a general instruction material on how to sharpen your knives using any Tramontina sharpener.

These instructions can be applied to all sharpener models apart from table models and stones.

• Keep the sharpener in a vertical position, away from your body.

• Run the knife downward along the sharpener, alternating the two faces of the blade in an angle approximately 20°.

• Place the sharpener in a diagonal position. The knife’s tip should point upwards. At an approximate 20° angle, press the knife lightly on the sharpener, moving it from the handle to the blade’s end, alternating its two faces of the blade. It is important to keep the same angle constantly.

• Avoid hitting the knife’s edge on the sharpener’s handle.
