Joining Tagged

Go to http://www.tagged.com/

Enter your First Name.

Enter your Last Name.

Select your Gender.

Enter your Birthdate.

Select your Country of origin.

Enter your City.

Enter your Email Address.

Enter your desired Password.

Click the tick box to signify your agreement with the site's Terms of Service.

Click Next.

Enter Captcha.

Click Next.

You may find people you know who are already on Tagged by allowing Tagged to access your email account. Do so by entering your email address and clicking Next.

However, you may skip this process should you choose to do it later. To do so, click on the Skip link on the top right corner of the page.

Check your email and either copy the confirmation code contained in it and paste it onto the Confirmation code box (and click Next), or...

Click on the confirmation link contained in the email.

Add your photo by clicking on the Choose File button.

You may skip the process by clicking on the Skip link on the top right corner of the page. But since you need to have a photo uploaded before you are allowed to view your full home screen, might as well do it now.

Using Tagged

To unlock the full home screen, you must upload a photo and view 10 profiles. We've already added a photo during the registration process so, in this part, we are only going to view other people's profiles. To do so...


Log in to your account.

Click on any one of the people (photo) shown on the right portion of the page.

You will be brought to that person's profile page. From there, you may choose to click the 'Back' button of your browser and click on someone else's profile/photo, or you may also click on any of the photos displayed on that person's profile.

You will notice that the number in the status of the Find People portion will increase every time you view someone's profile. Just keep on going (until you reach 10) to unlock the full home screen.

After you've viewed 10 profiles you will see a congratulatory message on your home page. Click on the Click Here button.



Your homepage should now look like this.

Adding a friend



Click Friends at the top of the page (below the advertisement).

You are presented with three methods of adding a friend. Let's say that you know somebody who's already on Tagged. So, for this example, we are going to add a friend by searching for one.

Click on Search.

Enter the name or email of your friend in the Friend Search box.

Click Search.

Click on your friend's photo.

Click on the Add to Friends link on your friend's profile page.

Enter the verification code shown and click Submit.

Note: You will have to wait for your friend/contact to approve of your “friend request” before he/she appears on your Friends list.

Accepting a Friend Request

When somebody adds you as his/her friend, you will see a friend request notification on your profile page.

Click on the friend request link.

Click on the Accept button.

Gold... You might just need it

Gold is Tagged's official currency. You will need it to:

buy virtual gifts for your friends/contacts and Meet Me interests get your profile featured on Tagged's Top 8 Featured Users

To get more Gold:


Click on the Get More Gold link on the upper left portion on the page under Tagged.

Choose your desired method of getting more Gold.

Buying Gold is done through PayPal. So if you choose to use that option, make sure

you have a PayPal account. On the other hand, earning Gold requires you to participate in the offerings provided by Tagged's parters. Some are free while some require you to purchase something.

To see how much Gold you have, click on the My Gold tab.

Gifts, Send 'Em or Make 'Em

Aside from enabling you to send virtual gifts to your friends and Meet Me interests (with a fee... in Gold), Tagged enables you to design your own gift and have it added to Tagged's gift library.

Gifts you design will be subjected to Tagged's review and approval. Once approved, your gift will be added to Tagged's gift library, making it available to everyone on Tagged to send to they friends.



Gifts are simply PNG format images with transparent background, 80 by 80 pixels in size, and must be free of any copyrighted or trademarked content.

To submit your gift to Tagged, you must have your design ready, strictly following Tagged's requirements and...


Click on the Gifts link near the top of the page.

Click Design a Gift.

Upload your design by clicking on the Choose File button and then the Upload button.

Tags

Tags are simply static or animated image messages which you can send to your Tagged friends for free.

To send one to your friend:

Click on Tags located near the top of the page.

Click on a tag that you like.

Click on your friend to who you want to send it.

Click Send Tags.

Enter the verification code shown and click Submit.

In addition, just like gifts, you may also design your own tags. Tags may be GIF, JPG, or PNG image formats and must be exactly 200 by 150 pixels in size. Submitted tags, by the way, are also subject to Tagged's review and approval before it gets added to Tagged's library.

Want to Meet Me?

Instead of randomly adding people as your friends, you can use Tagged's Meet Me facility to ease your way in to a person's life.

To use the Meet Me feature...

Click on Meet Me near the top of the page.

Choose your Sexual Orientation.

Enter your Tagline.

Click Start Playing.

Enter your preferences and click on the Update button.

If you don't like the person featured, click No.

If you see a person you like, click Yes.

People you've clicked yes to will appear in your Yes List.

If that person says Yes to you also, he/she will then be added to your Matches.

Be on the Top 8

Tagged's Top 8 Featured Users is everybody's chance to gt featured up front. The only requirement is that you pay... in Gold. 1,000 Gs, as a matter of fact.

The latest one who has paid to be included in the Top 8 will be placed in the number 1 slot. As soon as someone else pays to be included in the Top 8, the person featured in the number one slot will be bumped down to number two... and then 3... and so on, until he/she is bumped off of the Top 8.

You can choose to stay in the Top 8, all you have to do is pay again... and again... and again, before you are pushed out of the picture.

Scroll down to the Comments section and drop your keywords and URL in the Comment box.
