How to use explorenet & Apply for On-Campus Interviews
L o g O n & U p d a t e P r o f i l e
To access explorenet, log onto the La Salle Portal (https://my.lasalle.edu), and under “Tools,” select explorenet . (If you are
a current student, an account in explorenet has already been created for you.)
Use the Profile tab to update your personal and academic information, privacy settings, or password
NOTE: It is important to keep this information current, as it will affect what type of jobs you can apply to.

You must upload your resume and have it reviewed by the staff at Career Services before you are allowed to apply for on -
campus interviews. Follow these instructions first to upload your resume.
Click on the Documents tab.
Click on the Pending Tab, followed
by the Add New button to upload a
new document.

o In the Label field, enter the title of the document; i.e. Last Name, First Name -Resume
o Select a Document Type (Resume, Cover Letter, Writing Sample)
o Click on the Browse button to upload a file
o Click Submit
Your resume can now be found in the Pending Documents tab.
Follow the steps below to schedule an appointment, through explorenet , to have your resume reviewed.
Once your resume is approved: Select the Make Default button to designate a “main resume”: this will be the only
resume sent to employers when you apply to positions, and with permission, will appear in employer resume books .

After clicking the blue button for
“Request New Appointment, you
will be taken to a page to select
the type of appointment as well as
the date and time for said
appointment.
Your requested, and approved,
appointments will appear in their
respective section.

Click the Campus Interviews I Qualify For link on the home page.
You will be brought to a page that
lists the all companies “Recruiting
On Campus”. You will see the
name and location of the
company, the type of position, and
the deadline to apply.

Why am I restricted from applying to a job?

Click on the Apply button either on the main jobs list, or after you’ve clicked into the job and read the description.
After clicking the Apply button, a pop-up window will appear to choose which documents to attach .
You may not meet some of the employer requirements: Major Graduation date Degree level GPA Work authorization Class level
Or, you do not have one of these documents uploaded and approved by our staff:
Resume Cover Letter Writing Sample References Transcript
These are required documents to
apply.

After you apply, your interview request will be “Pending review .” You will be notified via email at least 5 days prior
to the on-campus interview date if you have been selected to interview.
Jobs you applied to will be stored in the Jobs | My OCR Applications tab (OCR stands for On Campus Recruiting).
o The status bar shows the current status of your request (i.e. Invited, Alternate, Pending, or Not Invited).

If you are invited for an interview, you will get a notification on your explorenet homepage newsfeed. Or check the status of
your invite via the Interviews tab, where under Requested Interviews , it will say Schedule Interview or Not Invited .
After clicking the “Schedule Interview” button, select your interview date and time and click “Submit.”
Note: Due to the quick turnaround time between
the employer decisions in interview dates, it is
critical to accept or decline an interview time
slot within 48 hours of the employer decision
being made. Failure to accept or decline can
result in your invitation being revoked.
Your interview will now show up under the
Interviews | Scheduled Interviews tab as well
as on your Calendar.
Reschedule or cancel an interview by clicking
the buttons in the last column (MUST BE DONE
AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE)

To pick a time, click Schedule
Interview (Or, if you are not
interested in moving forward, you
can select Decline Interview) after
clicking the three vertical circles.
