How to use Dropbox

Type-in dropbox.com to your address bar in your

browser.

Welcome to Dropbox Home Page!

Enter your first and last name.

Enter your email address.

Enter your password.

Click the check box beside

“I agree to Dropbox terms” .

Click

“Sign up for Free”.

Dropbox is now preparing to be downloaded to your

desktop.

A pop-up window will appear and you have to..

…save the file then open it once saved.

Again, this is for downloading Dropbox to

your desktop.

If you don’t want it to be on your computer..

…you can always open Dropbox with your

browser.

Once you have Signed Up to Dropbox,

..and you have verified your account from your

email address,

…you can now “Sign In” to Dropbox.

Fill-up the details,

…then click “Sign In”.

Whenever you Sign In to Dropbox..

..this will be the default view.

Here, you can see your account name.

Click it, and a drop-down box will appear.

It will allow you to put an account photo and..

..check on how much memory you have used.

Click on

“Settings”

.. And you will be redirected to a new tab.

You can now edit your profile, account and

security.

Click

“Install”

and Dropbox will be installed to your desktop.

Click

“Upgrade”

so you can upgrade your Dropbox plan

And of course, “Sign Out”

Now, this is where your uploaded files be listed.

The following icons will help you organize your

files.

To upload a document, a photo or a video..

..just click on this icon.

Then click “Choose Files”.

After you’ve chosen what to share, this window will

appear

..and you can even add more files.

After choosing a document, click “Done”.

You can now see on the list..

..the file that I have chosen.

To preview, just click on this..

Next is the

“New Folder”

icon where you can..

..arrange your files.

This window will allow you to name the folder..

..and choose to whom you want to share this folder.

Drag the items you want to be on that folder.

If you double-click the folder, you can see..

..the file inside that folder.

Moreover, you can also share a folder here at

Dropbox..

..by clicking this.

Choose from these two options then click “Next”.

Choose the folder you want to share then click “Next”.

Locate the email address/eson your contacts.

Write a message then click “Share File”.

You can now see an icon inside the folder..

..which means the folder has been shared.

Lastly, you can also view deleted files though this icon.

Now, if you click on this blank part,

..notice that this icons will appear.

Also, if you right-click the blank part,

..same options will

appear.

But if you simply want to share a file,

..just click “Share”.

This window will appear to let you send the link.

Type-in the email address/esand messages if necessary

…then click “Send”

For this link, you can only use this if..

..you’re not using the free version of Dropbox.

On the other hand, for this links..

Team, lets you..

Paper, makes..

Photos, lets you view pictures on your files.

Sharing, lets you view shared files or folder.

Links, gives you a list of the links you’ve created.

And Events, gives you a list of activities you’ve done.
