CHURCHILL INDUSTRIES Create two (2) folders on your desktop / laptop1. Create 2 folders, one for Jeppesen, the

other for Rockwell Collins, as a destination to download files.

CHURCHILL INDUSTRIES Within the R-C folder, create 4 sub-folders1. Create 4 sub-folders for the Rockwell

Collins downloads.

2. For Jeppesen, only the main folder on the desktop is needed.

Download Jeppesen Services Update manager (JSUM) 1. Go to Jeppesen link in LastPass, and click

to launch. This should take you to the Technical support - Jeppesen Services Update Manager (JSUM) webpage.

2. Download the JSUM app to your desktop/laptop.

Add JSUM app to desktop/laptop1. This app is required to download files

from Jeppesen to update the G280 digital charts.

2. Follow prompts within this app to download the most recent Jeppesen updates (see next slide).

Instructions for downloading Jepp updates:

1. Login, and from within JSUM app, set preferences (under options) to 1) Update Options: Automatically download the updates; and 2) Terminal Charts: Copy full chart subscription......

2. Highlight ProLine Fusion Electronic Charts (for new cycle date), and click Start

3. New update will start to download. This may take up to 15 minutes depending on internet speed

4. Once download is complete, double click line with new update to program this update.

5. Click Yes, and browse to either desktop/laptop folder, OR the USB drive (named "Clip It") and the Jeppesen folder

6. Once USB drive and folder or desktop/laptop folder is identified, click "Continue" to program this update.

CHURCHILL INDUSTRIES Rockwell Collins website downloads1. Click on Rockwell Collins website link in

LastPass and log in.

2. Under the Services & Support tab click on Database and Software Updates.

3. Click Flight Deck Content, then Download Database links.

4. Review the four (4) folders, and click on the links to download zip files to each respective sub-folder. OR, download zip files to the G280 USB drive for transfer to the G280 avionics system

5. R-C mails a DVD to Churchill Industries, and all files can be transferred to the G280 USB drive for transfer to the G280 avionics system (via the Information Management System, or IMS).

3. Monitor load progress for selected files.

4. Depending on size of download, this process may take up to 20 minutes.

DU2 Jeppesen Set-up1. Under Jeppesen folder, select

“Jeppesen_Disk_ xx-20xx” file and then select “Transfer.”

2. Note: Do not click on the Charts folder, as there are files within the “Jeppesen_Disk_ xx-20xx” folder that need to execute to download all charts.

DU2 Set up1. Allow several minutes for IMS to scan

onboard files (all files in Proline Fusion, including those just uploaded) and provide a readout of effective dates. This scan will allow assessment of currency of the Proline Fusion system.

Complete data uploads1. When system upload is complete, in the

closet behind the copilot, remove USB drive.

2. IMPORTANT: Move Download Switch back to OFF position.
