How to Take Head Measurements for a Custom Wig

Necessary Items
In order to take your head measurements you will need a soft measuring tape.
Circumference
Take the measuring tape and wrap it around your head starting at your nape and ending at you hair line.
Typical measurement for a woman is 21.
Front to Nape
Start the measuring tape at your hairline and end at your nape.
Ear to Ear Across Forehead
Start the measuring tape above your ear and run it across your hair line ending right above your opposite ear.
Temple to Temple Around the Back
Start the measuring tape at your temple and run it along the back of your head ending at your opposite temple.
Ear to Ear Over the Top of the Head
Start the measuring tape above your ear and run it across the top of your head ending right above your opposite ear.
Nape
Start the measurement right underneath your occipital bone or the place where your head begins to curve.
Typical measurement: 4
