The Process
Step 1: Find the most relevant content aligned to your curriculum
1. Login to Picmonic.com with your Free Forever Picmonic Premium educator account (if you don’t have one, get set up here)
2. Click in the top left to Search or Browse the library of 1,000+ mnemonic video-quiz lessons
3. Click through our premade sets of content organized by:
Option 2: Share hyperlinks to content aligned to your curriculum
Give students content playlists aligned to the curriculum you are currently teaching. Quickly grab a hyperlink from Picmonic.com and post it in your course notes, discussion boards, or assignments.
Once you have found a relevant set of content….
Step 2: Copy the URL to a video-quiz lesson or a set of content
You can link to a single Picmonic lesson, any level of premade Playlist, or a Custom Playlist by using the More Menu.
Click on the More menu (the three-dot ellipsis icon) for the content you want to link to, and select Share > Copy URL.
Step 3: Share the URL with your students
Common ways to do this include posting the Picmonic URL in your course notes, discussion boards, or into assignments.
Here’s a great example from a Nursing instructor putting links in a Canvas page:
That’s it, you did it!

Optional: Tailor sets of content with Custom Playlists
If you find a set of content you want to share with your students, but would like to either:
1. Combine multiple of our premade playlists into one, or 2. Remove specific video-quiz lessons from a premade playlist
Step 1: Add the set(s) of content to a Custom Playlist
Step 2: Navigate to your Custom Playlists
Watch thisvideo walkthrough!
Step 3: Modify the Playlist by rearranging (dragging and dropping) or removing lessons. Click the “...” more menu on any lesson
Note: when students click on the link to your Custom Playlist, they will be asked to clone it into their account. When they do so, a copy of your playlist is made for them. After this point, any changes you make to your playlist, such as adding additional lessons, will not be synced to the students’ version of the playlist.
Step 5: Share the URL/link with your students
Common ways to do this include posting the Picmonic URL in your course notes, discussion boards, or into assignments.
Step 4: Copy the Custom Playlist URL (share via link)
Is this resource really completely free?
While Picmonic Premium is free forever for educators, free student accounts are limited to one video and 20 quiz questions per day. Students can upgrade for unlimited access for as little as $4 per month. See student pricing here, or let’s discuss setting up access for your whole school.
