How to Setup LinkedIn Learning Account with UofT –PSDP Transcript Notation 2020

What is LinkedIn Learning?
LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform that helps you discover and develop business, technology-related, and creative skills through expert-led course videos.
With more than 15,000 courses and personalized recommendations, you can discover, complete, and track courses related to your field and interests. You can also choose to add these courses and related skills to your LinkedIn profile once you've completed them.

How to Setup LinkedIn Learning?
Step 1: Create a LinkedIn AccountIf you don’t already have one, CLICK HERE to start creating a LinkedIn Account. Skip to Step 2 (page 6) if you already have an account.
Use your @mail.utoronto.ca email or commonly used email address.

Complete your information above
Select “I’m a student”
Step 1: Create a LinkedIn Account
Complete your profile information Verify your email address using pin
Step 2: Verify your LinkedIn Account with your UofT Account
Search “UofT LinkedIn Learning” on google or click on the link below to start verifying your LinkedIn Learning Account.

Click “Connect to LinkedIn Learning” to start verifying
your account.
Step 2: Verify your LinkedIn Account with your UofT Account
Use your UTORid and Password to login
Select “Connect to my LinkedIn Account”
Step 2: Verify your LinkedIn Account with your UofT Account
Sign in with your LinkedIn Account
Step 3: Customize your learning
Select any one or more category you are interested in learning more about. If you would like to broaden your learning, select to “view all categories”.
Note: You can always change your option or streamline your learning by categories at a later point.

Congratulations! You have verified your LinkedIn Learning account with UofT. If completed successfully, you will see the “UofT” icon on the top right hand corner.
Now let’s start learning!
Step 4: How to access LinkedIn Learning for future use
Once you have verified your account with UofT, you can easily access LinkedIn Learning via your LinkedIn profile. You will now see the “Learning” icon on the top right-hand corner of your
screen. Click the icon to be redirected to the platform.
Alternatively, you can access LinkedIn Learning from the following URL:https://www.linkedin.com/learning/
Step 5: How to use LinkedIn Learning platform
The Department of Management recommends that students watch the above “How to Use LinkedIn Learning” video to help navigate the platform.
The video will cover the following three topics to give you a better understanding on how to navigate the platform:
1) Introduction to LinkedIn Learning2) How to consume content3) How to share your learning
PSDP Workshop: LinkedIn LearningStudents missing PSDP points in any of the six (6) categories can complete eLearning courses available through LinkedIn Learning. Students will receive 1 PSDP point for each hour completed.
Note: Students can only complete a maximum of five (5) PSDP points through LinkedIn Learning for each category to complete the Transcript Notation requirement. If you have any questions contact Linnet Kocheril for further clarification.
Once completed, students are required to submit proof of completion and reflection summary via email to [email protected]. For proof of completion, students must submit “Certificate of Completion” which can be downloaded directly from LinkedIn Learning. Refer to sample on the next page.
Note: Certificates can be download as .pdf or uploaded onto your LinkedIn profile once you have completed the course.
