STEP 1: On the channel display, right click and a small control bar will appear at

the bottom of the screen. Move the cursor to the “Menu” button and click it.

STEP 2: Move the cursor to the “System” button and click it.

STEP 3: Enter your login information to access the System menu. Default User

name is “admin” and default Password is “123456” (this can be punched in on the

front panel of the DVR using the digital buttons and direction keys).

STEP 4: Move the cursor to “RECORD” and click.

STEP 5: Move the cursor and put check marks in the boxes for the cameras you

wish to enable. Move the cursor to “OK” and click.

STEP 6: Move the cursor to “MOTION” and click.

STEP 7: Select the channel that you want to set up motion detection for.

STEP 8: Put a checkmark in the box next to “Enable”.

STEP 9: Move the cursor to the “Set” button next to “Trigger” and click it.

STEP 10: Check the channels that you want to record once motion detection has

been triggered.

STEP 11: Move the cursor to “OK” and click.

STEP 12: Move the cursor to the “Set” button next to “Area” and click it.

STEP 13: Move the cursor to “All” and press “Enter”; if you wish to customize the

motion detection area, move the cursor to “Custom” and click.

STEP 14: If you selected “All” go to the next step; if you selected “Custom”, use

the direction keys and the enter button to set the area (The area that will set off

motion detection will be clear).

STEP 15: Move the cursor to “Sensitivity” and set the detection strength.

STEP 16: Move the cursor to “Save” and click.

STEP 17: Move the cursor to “OK” and click.

STEP 18: Move the cursor to “SCHEDULE” and click.

STEP 19: Put a checkmark in the box next to “Motion”.

STEP 20: Select the channel that you want to set up motion detection for.

STEP 21: Click the boxes to select the date and times for Motion recording. The

green portion of the schedule is active.

STEP 23: When motion detection is activated, a small yellow dot will appear on

the screen.
