How to set up a tripod STEP 1 Open the tripod bag Remove tripod from bag Put tripod on floor Open tripod legs so all sections are straight STEP 2 Open clips on legs or screws if necessary Lift up tripod to desired height Lock the clips/screws Remove camera base plate using red clip STEP 3 Open the camera bag and remove camera Get base plate, put screw in camera thread then tighten STEP 4 Check spirit level Loosen handle and adjust until level Check spirit level is accurate Tighten handle Push red button and slide in camera locking into place
