STEP 1
Seal all gaps and openings with caulking, foam or
chinking. Repair any rotting or missing areas and
make sure the logs are structurally sound. Use a
caulking, foam or chinking system that is long-
lasting, UV-stable and chemical-resistant.
PermaChink is a popular manufacturer of log home
caulking, foam and chinking systems.
STEP 2
Remove all debris, lose and flaking paints and sealers. Using the
Infinity Wood Cleaner, clean the wood and remove all mold,
mildew, tannin and rust stains.
While it isn’t required, it is suggested to also use the
Infinity Wood Brightener. The Brightener will remove years of
weathering and bring the wood back to its original condition. It
will also open up the surface pores to allow for better sealer
penetration.
STEP 3
Using the Infinity Wood Sealer (clear or one of 16
colors), seal the entire exterior of the cabin,
including the deck. The Infinity Wood Sealer will
provide UV protection (SPF75), protection against
mold and mildew, wood destroying insects, cupping
and cracking. The Infinity Wood Sealer is guaranteed
for 25 years. It will keep your log cabin or home
protected and provide it with lasting beauty.
