How to Save Money in Your Business

Running a business isn’t cheap. There are so many things to pay for that when you first start out, chances are you’ll be losing money for a while or just about breaking even if you’re lucky! But not to worry, because this guide has been written to help business owners save a little money here and there.

1) Cut back on the coffee and tea

Most of the time, it’s down to the employer to buy the hot drinks etc. If you’ve just started your business, employees might need to understand that top brands are simply out of the question. Opt for cheaper brands or supermarket’s own products. Employees go through a lot of hot drinks after all. Once you get up and running, earning more money and making profit, then you can start on the Kenco!

2) Buy cheap company cars

A company car doesn’t have to be a really expensive one. You can get Cheap Company cars that are just as good at getting you from A to B, without looking flash. Buy a car that does the job but won’t give clients (or employees for that matter) the wrong impression about your business. It’s best to be honest with clients, so if that means a cheaper car then so be it.

3) Recycle paper

Printing paper costs a lot of money and so do new notepads every month. Make sure your company recycles any old paper and re-uses it for jotting down notes etc. that might not need a brand new, fresh sheet of paper. Also avoid printing letters to employees too often as this wastes valuable printer ink and a lot of paper. Every employee is likely to have an email address, so simply send an email around instead of using paper that will probably just be thrown away.
