How to root Sam sung Galaxy S duos

Step 1: Download and extract Sam sung Galaxy S duos “Rooting kit“ on

your com puter.

Step 2: Switch Off your phone, take out the battery and insert it back.

Now boot your phone into Download M ode by pressing and holding the

Volum e Dow n + H om e button together, and then press the Pow er

button till you see the Android Construction logo. Once again press

Power button to confirm .

Step 3: Open “O din.exe” (from extracted folder) and connect your

phone via USB cable with your com puter in download m ode. If your

yellow.

Step 4: Click on “PDA” button and select file “recovery.tar” (from

extracted folder).

Step 5: Please m ake sure that only F. Reset Tim e and Auto

Reboot options are checked on Odin.

Step 6: Now, click on the Start button on Odin to start the installation

process. Installation will take a few m inutes to com plete so please wait

for the com plete process.

Step 7: Finally, when the installation process is com pleted successfully

you will see the “PASS” m essage on Odin and then your device will

reboot autom atically. W hen the phone boots up (vibrates) then

im m ediately rem ove the battery and after 1-2 m inutes start your phone.

(M AIN STEP)

Hurray! Your Sam sung Galaxy S duos S7562 now has been rooted and

you can check the Super app installed on your device. In case, if you

want to verify then download this Root Checker application and verify it

by yourself only.

W ait! The guide is not over yet. You know which application is essential

to install Custom ROM ? No? It’s ClockW orkM od and you can see this

application when you are in recovery m ode. And that’s its called CW M

Recovery. So, if you want to install CW M Recovery then follow the

rem aining steps.

Step 8: Now, placed the “CW M Recovery file” in the SD card.

Step 9: Switch off your phone to boot into recover m ode by press and

holding Volum e Up + Hom e button together, and then press the Power

button.

step 10: From the recovery m enu, select “Install zip from sdcard” and

go to path where you have placed “CW M Recovery file” and select

it. Installtion will take 2-3 m inutes.

Step 11: W hen the installtion process is com pleted select “++++Go

Back++++” and then choose “reboot system ” to reboot your phone.
