Steps to Restore Deleted Files from Backup
Hit Start icon and go to ‘Control Panel’. Under ‘System and Security’ click ‘Back up your Computer’.
Next click ‘Create a system image’.
A page would appear ‘Where do you want to save the files’. Select ‘On a hard disk’ and hit ‘Next’. You may also select ‘On one or more DVDs’ or ‘On a network location’.
Click ‘Start Backup’.
Now ‘Windows is saving the backup’.
A page would appear as ‘Do you want to create a system repair disc’. Click ‘No’.
The Backup Completed successfully. Click ‘Close’.
The ‘Windows Image Backup’ would be saved.
Return back to ‘Backup of Restore your files’ and click ‘Recover system settings on your computer’.
Click ‘Open system restore’.
Next page is ‘Restore system files and settings’. Click ‘Next’.
Choose a restore point and click ‘Next’.
Next page is ‘Confirm your restore point’. Hit ‘Finish’.
A page stating ‘Once started, system restore cannot be interrupted. Do you want to continue’? Click ‘Yes’.
