How to Resolve Google Malware Alert warning?

This warning is visible on web pages, where Google web crawlers have detected malware, spyware

or virus contents on the web pages. This is mainly visible on browsers that use data from Google

Safe Browsing Service e.g. Firefox 3.x and Chrome.

How to resolve this through Google Webmaster Tools?

Go to Google Webmaster Tools page (http://www.google.com/webmasters/ ) and create an

account there. If you already have a Google account, you may login using the same

credentials.

In the Webmaster's tools page click on the button ADD A SITE

Then type in your domain name in the blank textbox and click on CONTINUE.

You will need to download the .html file and upload it into your own server where the

domain name is hosted, to verify the ownership of the website.

Once the domain name is added and verified, your domain name will show up in the list of

sites owned under your Google account.

For that particular domain name, you will need to click on Health and then Click on Malware

In case of non-infected sites you will get the message "Google has not detected any malware

on this site "

However, in case your site was flagged by Google as an infected site, then you will get the

"Request a Review” button along with the list of URLs that Google crawlers found as

infectious. Clicking on the button, will submit a review request. Please note that this process

may take a couple of days.
