· Each player can either put an additional bet to stay in or bet nothing and fold.
· The amount that you have to put in, to stay in the game depends on the current stake. It also depends on whether you are playing blind or seen.
· In the beginning, the current stake is the minimum bet. During the game, the current stake is the bet placed by the player betting before you.
Step 2: Seen or blind
· The players have the option to look at their hand before betting (playing seen) or to leave their cards face down on the table (playing blind).
· Blind players can opt to see their cards at any time during the game. Once a blind player sees their cards, they become a seen player.
Step 3: How to bet:
If you are a blind player (that is you did not look at your cards)
·If the player betting before you is seen, you have to bet at least half of the current stake OR bet the amount of current stake. For Example: if the player before
you is seen and bet 20, you can bet either 10 or 20.
·If the player betting before you is blind, you have to bet minimum the current stake OR bet twice the current stake. For example: if the player before you is blind
and bet 20, you can bet either 20 or 40
If you are a seen player
·If the player betting before you is seen, you have to at least match the current stake OR bet twice the current stake. for example: if the player before you bet 10,
you can bet either 10 or 20
·If the player before you bet blind, you must bet minimum twice the current stake OR four times the current stake. example: if the player before you is blind and bet
10, you can bet either 20 or 40
Step 4: The betting will continue this way until one of the following happens:
· Option 1: All players except one fold their cards.
o In this case, the last player (winner) gets all the money in the pot, irrespective of the cards held and his cards are not exposed to anyone.
· Option 2: All except two players fold and one of the nal two players at their turn pays for a show.
o In this case, the cards of both players are displayed and compared. The player with the better hand wins. However, if both players have the same hand, the
player who did not ask for the show wins.
Step 5: The rules for a show are as follows:
· A show cannot occur until only 2 players remain.
· The current stake is the bet placed by the player betting before you.
- If you are a blind player
o You must ask for a show on paying the current stake if the other player is blind
o you must ask for a show on paying half the current stake If the other player is seen,
o In both cases, you do not get to look at your own cards until after you have paid for the show.
-If you are a seen player
o You can ask for a show for twice the current stake if the other player is blind,
o You can ask for a show for the current stake if the other player is seen,
· If all the players are seen

oThen during your turn, immediately after betting the minimum amount (which is twice the current stake), you can ask the player betting immediately before you for a
compromise,. This is also known as a sideshow. The player has an option to accept or refuse the compromise.
oWhen the compromise is accepted, the two players independently compare their cards. The player with the lower ranking cards is required to fold. If they are equal, the
player asking for the compromise must fold.
oIf the compromise is refused, then the betting continues as usual with the next player i.e., after the one who asked for the compromise. Step 6: Running out of money
·If you run out of money, you can opt to continue playing or fold.
o To continue playing, you can either bring in more money into the table from your main account or you can go all-in.
o Side pots are created to determine the winner(s) when you go all-in,
·A side pot is separate pot to which only some players contributed and therefore all are not eligible to win. A s ide pot occurs when a player goes all-in and other players
continue to bet more than the all-in player.
amount by 10, the rst player would have to put an extra 10 to stay in the game instead of matching it by another 5.
The dealer can set a maximum bet amount for both, the blind and the seen players.
· Fold
There are ve di erent types of b etting that can be used throughout the game each of the players whenever it is their turn to place a bet. They are:
·Entry Fee/Boot/Ante
An entry fee is a small amount put in the pot by either every player or a single player on a rotational basis. This amount is mandatory to put before the start of every
game and is the rst amount put in the pot. This entry fee is also called the Boot or the Ante.
·Blind
Every deal of the Flush Card Game calls for two blinds put in the pot by two players. The player sitting next to the dealer puts in the s mall blind, which is half of the
bet and the next player puts in the big blind, which is the full bet. Once the game begins, the players who do not look at their cards are called blind players and the
players that have looked at their cards are called seen players. Whenever a blind player posts a bet, to continue to stay in the game, the seen player needs to put
double the amount in the pot.
The dealer can set a maximum bet amount for the blind players and can also set the number of rounds a player can play blind.
·Call and Raise
Call and Raise are actions that put bets in the pot. Each player needs to place a bet to advance in that round of the game. If a seen player is placing a bet, it needs
to be double the amount of money that a blind player placed as a bet. These actions are also called ‘chaal’. This betting structure is very di erent from poker. In the
Flush Card Game, if the rst player bets an amount of 5 and the second player raises the betting

Fold is a term used when a player decides to quit the game for that particular match. They can quit the game at any point in time but they player has to forfeit the
money he put in the pot.
There are four basic plays or moves in this game. These are the only moves that are used in the game, so keep them in mind when you play it online. They are:
·Blind
When someone plays blind, that means that that particular player has not seen his cards.
·Play
All the players have the option of looking at their cards at any given point in the game. If they choose to do so, they will have to put double the amount of money put
in by players playing blind when the time comes to place a bet. This play is also called a chaal.
·Sideshow, Backshow and compromise
Sideshow or Backshow is a term used when two players compare their hands. This can only be done after both the players have looked at their cards. A player can
only request the player who placed the previous bet for a sideshow or a backshow. The player to whom this request has been made reserves the right to decline
the request for the sideshow or the backshow. After both the players have compared their cards, one of the players has to ‘compromise’ and fold their cards.
·Show
In this game, for the betting to stop and the winner to be declared, one of two things can happen. Either all but one player fold their cards, or, all but two players fold
their cards. In the latter, when there are only two players left, one of the players can ask for a ‘show’ or can ask the other player to show their card after depositing
a small amount of money in the pot. There are certain rules for a show. They are:
oIf a seen player asks a blind player for a show, then they have to deposit four times the bet at that given point of time in the pot.
oIf a seen player asks another seen player for a show, then they have to deposit two times the bet at the given point of time in the pot.

combination is Ace-Two-Three (A-2-3) and the lowest combination is four-three-two (4-3-2). This combination is also known as a sequence.
4) Flush
There are six di erent hands in this game. Each hand is a combination of three cards. There is a certain hierarchy within these six hand combinations to determine
the winner of the game. The ranking for these six hand combinations from the highest to the lowest is:
1)Three of a kind
This is the highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards of the same number. The highest combination is three aces (A-A-A) and the
lowest combination is three twos (2-2-2). This combination is also known as a trail or a trio.
2)Straight Flush
This is the second highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards with consecutive numbers, all of the same suit. The highest
combination is Ace-Two-Three (A-2-3) and the lowest combination is four-three-two (4-3-2). One combination to note, King-Ace-Two (K-A-2) is not considered a
straight ush but a regular ush. This combination is also known as a pure sequence.
3)Straight
This is the third highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards with consecutive numbers of di erent suits. The highest

This is the fourth highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards of the same suit. In this combination, if two people have the same combination
the ush, the high card ush wins. If two people have the same high card ush, then the suits are looked at to determine the winner. This combination is also called the color.
5)Pair
This is the fth highest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand consists of three cards out of which, two of them should be the same. For example, Ace-Ace-two (A-A-2),
Three-Three-Five (3-3-5). In this case, if two players have the same pair, the third card is compared. This combination is also called the double.
6)No pair
This is the smallest hand in the Flush Card Game. This hand does not consist of any combination but is judged upon its value. This highest card amongst the payers wins.
This hand is also called the high card.

The suits are also ranked in this game. These rankings are helpful to determine the winner when two players have the same hand i.e., the same cards with di
erent suits. In those cases, the winner is determined by the suits their hands have. The ranking of these suits from the highest to the lowest is -
1) ♠
2) ♥
3) ♣
4) ♦
· High Wild
In this variation, the highest numbered card in the player’s hand can be considered as a wild card by that player. If the player has a pair of these high cards, then
both these cards are considered to be wild cards and can be used by the player accordingly.
The Flush Card Game can be played in a multitude of variations. Variations are di erent ways of playing the game, or small modi cations made to the game.
Multiple variations can be played simultaneously. Some of the most popular variations of the game are-
·Best-of-four
In this variation, instead being dealt three cards, each player is dealt four cards out of which they have to make the most favorable three card combination.
·Lowball
In this variation, the rankings of the numbers in each of the hands gets reversed. For example, the highest ranking of numbers in a three of a kind combination is
A-A-A, but in this variation this ranking becomes the lowest and the highest ranking becomes 2-2-2. The same reversal happens in every hand. This variation is
also known as Mu is.
·Wild Draw
In this variation, the dealer opens one random card and puts it on the table along with dealing three cards to each of the players. Any player who has the same
number as that open card in his hand can use that card as a wild card i.e. that card can be used as any imaginary card.
·Low Wild
In this variation, the lowest numbered card in the player’s hand can be considered as a wild card by that player. If the player has a pair of these low cards, then
both these cards are considered to be w ild cards and can be used by the player accordingly.

High Card Flush
· Two Lowest Wild
In this variation, each of the players is dealt four cards out of which, the two lowest cards form a wild card for the player to use. If the two lowest cards come in a
pair in the player’s hand, then they both are considered wild cards. The catch in this variation is that if the two middle cards happen to come in a pair, the
player cannot form any wild cards.
· Bust Card Draw
In this variation, each of the players is dealt three cards as standard. The dealer then takes opens one random card and puts it on the table. If any of the players
have the same numbered card in their hand, they are supposed to fold. If they do not have that same numbered card in their hand, they can continue with
the game.
· Stud
In this variation, each of the players is dealt a mixture of three cards out of which some are in his hand and the remaining are faced down. The face down cards are
called hole cards and the face up cards are called street cards.
· Community
Inspired by Texas Hold’Em Poker, in this variation, each of the players is dealt with two face down cards. The rest of the cards are dealt are the center in the center
of the table which are common to all the players and can be used to make a three-card combination. There are two option in this variation
o Three-Card Community- In this option, along with the two cards given to each of the players, only one single card is opened in the center.
o Five-Card Community- In this option, along with the two cards given to each of the players, three cards are opened in the center.
· Draw
In this variation, each of the players is dealt three cards i.e. a complete hand. The players have the option to discard the cards that they do not want and ‘purchase’
new cards from the dealer after putting in a pre-decided sum of money in the pot. Each player has this option for the rst three rounds. After the rst three
rounds, this option of discarding cards and purchasing fresh cards does not apply. Each player can only discard and purchase one card in a round.
· 999
In this variation, each of the players is dealt a complete hand. The players need to arrange their cars in such a way that when all the numbers on the cards are put
together, the number is as close to 999 as it can get. The winner in this variation is a person with a trail of 9s. One thing to note in this variation, all face card
and cards with double digits hold a value of zero.
· AK47
In this variation, each of the players is dealt a complete hand. Four cards- Ace, King, Four and Seven of each suit are considered to be wild cards. If any player
possesses any of these cards in any suit in their hand, they can use these cards as jokers or wild cards accordingly.
· Cobra
In this variation, each of the players is dealt a single card. All the players are required to put in a pre-determined amount in the pot. The players then have to hold
their card at their forehead for everyone to see. They cannot look at their own card. The highest card then wins.
· Blind Kind and jack
In this variation, each of the players is either dealt four cards or three cards. Any player with a king or a jack with only one visible eye and a side pro le, can use
these cards as wild cards.
There are many more variations to the game. Many people make their own variations to customise the game to their liking, and you can even play these variations
online.
There are more Indian card games which are equally popular. Rummy is one such game on GetMega. Play contests and tournaments with

The High Card Flush is another variation to the game. This variation is di erent from all the other variations as this game is played against the dealer. In the game of High
Card Flush, there is only one recognized hand combination- The Flush. The player having the higher cards in their hand i.e. High Card Flush, wins the game.
There are two ways of betting in this game- the A nte and the Raise. The Ante is the bet that has to be placed in the beginning of the game and the Raise is the bet that
can be placed at the beginning of every round of the game. In the High Card Flush, the player and the dealer receive seven cards each through which they have to form a
ush with the highest cards i.e., the High Card Flush.
A ush with seven cards trumps a ush with six cards which in turn trumps a ush with ve cards and so on. The folding rules are the same for the High Card Flush as Flash
or Teen Patti. The player may choose to fold his cards at any given moment in time but will have to forfeit his bet.
The High Card Flush is a game which can be played with two or more people whereas Flash or Teen Patti requires more.
